Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre Shuttle

Vaughan Mills is a large shopping centre located close to the 400 and Rutherford, and by Canada’s Wonderland. Vaughan Mills has a «race track» layout with over 200 stores along with restaurants. Some stores include Tommy Hilfiger, La Senza, H&M, and Urban Behaviour. There is also the NASCAR Speed park located here, Which I haven’t been too.
I think Vaughan Mills has a little bit of everything here and I come here once in while, when I’m in the area.

A FREE shuttle bus from Union Station to Vaughan Mills and back? I’m in! I took this service last year and they are offering it again this year.
SHUTTLE SERVICE
There are two shuttle services each day. The first one departs at 10 am and arrives back to Union at 3pm. The second leaves at 1pm and arrives at 6pm.
This is a first come first serve basis and therefore you have to line up apparently an hour before the shuttle arrives to get your wrist ban in order to secure a spot on the 49 passenger seat bus (similar to greyhound bus).
To line up, you enter from Front street on ground level and the counter is on the north side of the building near the centre information booth.
HINDER TO PLANS
If you sign up for the 10 o’clock trip, you have to return on the 3 o’clock trip. You cannot come home on the 6 o’clock trip. If you do not show up on time, the bus will leave w/​o you.
This gives opportunity for those who did not line up an hour early to get a seat on the bus from Union (like me) to Vaughan. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. It’s up to you to take the chance.
BUS FEATURES
The bus has AC so it’s good in the summer time. The seats are pretty comfortable but I’m not sure how clean they are so I wouldn’t lean your head back on the back rest. They have cubbies above the seats so you can carry large purchases back from Vaughan Mall. There is a washroom in the back but I say just hold it in.
Free ride to Vaughan mills? I say it’s pretty good.
