I’ve been developing my 4×5 film here for a little over a year now and I have no real complaints. I did print with them once a while ago and the quality was good but I haven’t had any need to since. For people printing here for their first time I suggest they look into their bulk printing if you want to save a bit of money. Aside from that they have decent facilities, high quality scanners, frames, darkrooms, and staff that are usually quite good. They also have a small gallery and in the same building you can also find the Contact gallery and Ryerson Universities student gallery.

Toronto Image Works is one of the few professional photo labs left in the city. It’s also one of the few places left where you can rent darkroom space. You can do B&W printing, and colour printing.(The later is probably quite rare to find nowadays.) The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and the location is quite convenient. Prices are steep compared to your local pharmacy, but quite reasonable compared to other pro labs in the city.
