Went here after my boyfriends volleyball league in Scarborough to watch the end of the Blue Jays game. Good atmosphere, great food and great service. We picked somewhere close to the gym and we had a good time!

I recently organized a Paint Nite outing for a work social. The Paint Nite here worked well for staff because of the day and location. Prior to this, I had never heard of this place as it’s not my usual hang out neighbourhood. With every outing at work, we always have pre or post activity food so it worked out well that Paint Nite was at a pub with a food menu. There’s a parking lot on site, which is convenient for drivers. It is also TTC accessible as well. I was thoroughly impressed with the service here. A few nights before, I called to reserve a table for my staff. On the night of the event, our table was ready before the start time of the social. I ordered a number of platters — all of which were quite reasonable. For under $ 100, I was able to order a number of items from the menu. Everyone was satisfied! Special mention: the nachos. They were amazing! Cheese, cheese, and cheese. If I ever have a nacho craving, I’ll be driving to the Loaded Dog. Good for: groups, drinks, nachos

The Loaded Dog is fantastic! I don’t know what the heck was going on when those who left poor reviews went, but every time I’ve gone to this spot, I’ve had an awesome time!(Hint: If you go anywhere on a busy night, your food might either be slow or leave the kitchen without the twenty modifications you made to it, but hey, I guess you can’t please everyone.) The servers are all total sweethearts and the owners are super friendly– they always seem to be there chatting with the patrons when I’ve gone in. Food is fresh and tasty, there are tons of great beers on tap, and their weekly specials offer awesome value. My onlyyy two complaints: the women’s bathroom could do with a little TLC(one of the stall doors doesn’t lock and it’s a little cold, dark, and dingy in there overall) and when there’s a band playing, it’s reeeally loud since the acoustics are less-than-ideal. Other than that, I love this place. You guys deserve a bigger, better sign out front!!! :)

I rarely give 1 star reviews, but this location is just… bleh. Service? Very, very, Slow. Food? Absolutely Terrible. Will NOT be returning again. We were there for my friend’s birthday party, and it just so happened that they had a live concert in their bar in the patio that day. We arrived BEFORE the crowd was rushing in though, and because it’s dinner time, some of us wanted to have some food in the stomach before start drinking. Now, I do understand that this IS a bar, and I should not have high expectations of bar food. But their food quality is rather unacceptably bad. I ordered steak(medium rare) & eggs(sunny side up). My steak came well done and cold, and eggs were… hmm not sunny side up at all. My friend ordered a steak(rare) salad, he also had a very well done steak, which definitely is rare in his books. By then we were way too hungry to complain, but it was not a good meal. My other friends had burgers and other variation, and they did not have a good experience either. Some asked for no onion for example, and onions came with it anyway. Yes, we can just easily pick it away, but still, we expected some service at least. As a customer, I don’t feel like they valued our business at all. Our waitress was not attentive and was constantly distracted, not to mention it took over 1.5 hours to deliver the food. Every time she goes in and checks for us, we get the answer of «Your food is already being cooked, it will be here in 10 minutes.» Sure enough, 45 minutes later our food is still no where to be seen. Finally, we were given the explanation of: «Oh we have a huge crowd outside and the cooks are trying to make sure all their orders are delivered.» What about us then? One upside is they do have TVs everywhere blasting sports, and they do have a good selection for beers on tap. But if you would like to have something to fill in your stomach before drinking, I recommend going somewhere else before coming here. Good luck. I personally will not be returning again.

No bad for a Scarborough bar! Nice tvs, decent pricing, decent service, crowd isn’t too Scarborough. Great for a UFC event! They charge $ 10 at the door, but that goes towards your bar tab, which is fair.

Very busy bar inside even though I didn’t notice it driving by each Saturday night while I head somewhere else outside of Scarborough. This place had live music the night we went. The servers where very friendly and quick to deliver(food and beverages). I am not a bar person and rarely go into bars(lounges are my preferred destination along with café’s) but the servers made me feel very comfortable during my stay here. They where very attentive. I’m literally 5minutes away from this place and although I won’t be headed back since its not my thing, its a nice place to be in if your into bars(mind you I don’t have much bar experience to judge it on a level of what other bars are like but service speaks volumes regardless of my experience in a bar).

The Loaded Dog is a really decent neighbourhood sport bar! 23 HDTVs for all the sport fans and game specials($ 11 for a lb of wings and tall ball) ! Definitely better than watching a game at home! The decoration is quite nice, modern and clean! The beers on taps are a little boring but at least have Creemore, Rickard’s and Moosehead aside from Budweiser and Coors Light. Services is nice and friendly. Though we didn’t order any food, the menu seems to be reasonably priced with the usual pub food. They do have a stage set up across from the bar area for Karaōke.
