When I used to work downtown, I really loved taking 30mins of my lunch break to pop down to one of the many Backrub locations for a quick massage.
The first time at this location, this one is newer. They were able to book me in last minute, and I had a 30 mins massage on the chair. Personally, I like the chair as my major issues are upper back and shoulders, which I find they can’t really get to properly on the table (which they also have). But the RMTs hate it. It puts them in a strange position, and she even commented that if I got 45 mins on the chair, she wouldn’t have been a happy camper.
But it felt amazing as she dug in there. One thing I always found standard with this chain, is that they are all trained RMTs and have a very good pressure.
The atmosphere is business like with no extra perks or anything. Somehow they still are able to create a peaceful and quiet atmosphere despite being in the middle of a mall.
Writing this now, I wish I could go back down for a quickie! Yes, I said quickie. Their services range from 15 mins to 45 mins!
