I came here originally for a Groupon — 1 hour massage. Instantly I fell in love with this spa. It’s small and cozy and nicely decorated. Joan was very attentive and did some stretching at the end of my massage (that was a first for me).
Fast forward one year, I wanted to try this place again and bought another Groupon — 30 minute facial, 30 minute massage and 15 minute hand treatment. Although my facial went over 30 minutes, Joan wanted to make sure she did a job well done.
That’s why Joan gets 5 stars in my book. She has treated me like one of her regulars even though I came in with two groupons. I’ll be coming back to Joan with or without a Groupon.

I moved to TO two years ago and had been on the hunt for a new facialist ever since – until I found Joan at Starr. I was a bit hesitant to give it a try since there aren’t many reviews, and I don’t trust just anyone with my skin. But I decided to go anyway and was far from disappointed. I loved how serene the place was, and it’s convenient location. I felt incredibly pampered during – and well rested after – my treatment. And my skin quality improved significantly after just one session! I’m looking forward to going back for my next visit.

Best girlfriend ever Elle R bought me a massage for my b-​day and it came just at the right time. I was really surprised at how cute and relaxing the location is. Everything looks bright, fresh, clean, and new.
Joan was so sweet on the phone and really understanding when I asked to reschedule minutes before the appointment time. Throughout the session, she kept asking me if the pressure was sufficient, and doing everything to ensure my comfort.
SO LIKE AWKS BUT HERE GOES — basically the best glute massage of my life. I don’t know why but like my glutes are always so sore. So I pretty much always ask the RMT to focus on that area. And NO ONE has ever made them feel so relaxed. And I go FOR A LOT of glutes massages.
So yeah, check it out. Joan’s cool. And I apologize in advance if her schedule will now be full of groping people’s butts.
