I went here for the first time today for a gel mani during their happy hour pricing. I was so so stoked to go, and I am happy about my mani. However, my cuticles were pulled(painfully) off and the polish application wasn’t the best. I for one have disgusting looking nails and they don’t look as bad now, so it is alright. I am now also terrified of an infection waiting to happen. I thought the cuticles would be removed with a remover but I suppose not. I now have stingy cuticles, hoorah! Overall, they were not so bad and I am trying the other location for a pedi soon.

Do not get a cut here! The girl that cut my hair was so inexperienced. She left it so uneven that i am not even going to ask to get it evened out. She was so insecure cutting my hair that I should have just walked away. I payed 56 left tip 70 dollars overall and when I got home and got a good look at it it looks terrible. One of the worst experiences of my life. Now gonna have to go to another place to get it fixed after my wedding!!! So mad!

This place is next to my building and they do an awesome job! I go see Jessica every time I come in and she’s great. Liberty village has a great selection of nail salons, don’t hesitate to try this place out!

Saw Natasha at Sparks in Liberty Village for waxing and nail services. She was very professional and I was thoroughly pleased with my whole experience. The atmosphere of the salon was fantastic — all the staff were friendly and appeared to love working there, the place is spotless and modern, and it has great natural light. I was pleasantly surprised to find out as well that they actually have a reduced rate«happy hour» during the week for manis and pedis, so my bill was less than I expected! I will definitely return here in the future and recommend their services to anyone in the Liberty Village area.

I came in to get one nail done over again in shellac because it chipped after a week from getting it done at my usual salon I go to. And I read the positive feedback about this salon on here. I called them ahead of time to ask if they had time for just one of my nails to be fixed and they said yes and when to come in. My biggest mistake was not to ask how much it would cost. When I got there, I was seated with the girl that was going to do the fix. I asked her how much would it be to do one nail. She said 10 dollars plus tax. Considering they normally charge about 55 dollars in the evenings for shellac manicures, I would have thought it would only be about 5 dollars a nail. If I were to do my nails for 10 dollars each, that would be about 100 dollars plus tax. That’s crazy! I understand in a way that it would have been a waste of her time to do just one nail and get paid like 5 dollars only, but where is the customer service here. If she had just done the one nail, I told her I would keep coming here, because I was looking for a new salon. She said she was a senior manicurist and maybe one of the juniors may do it for cheaper, but none were there at the moment. She told me instead to book an appointment and come back during the day because it’s cheaper then. I was disappointed, therefore not going back. I get my nails done every 2 and a half weeks. They would have made a lot of money if I was a client.

Great service, super friendly staff. I went in during their happy hour, so my shellac mani was only $ 25. Definitely worth checking out for any first timers. I’ll be coming back for sure. Their Instagram account is full of awesome designs that they’ve done on other customers if you’re looking for inspiration. Live seeing all the new things people are coming up with.

I was stoked when Sparks opened a Liberty Village location. I’ve only been once so far, but the atmosphere is lovely — very clean and modern with a fun, girly vibe. Nicole coloured my hair beautifully, and I’m platinum blonde, which isn’t easy to nail. Bonus points for having tons of Japanese nail art magazines around for me to peruse while getting my hair done. I’ll be back soon for some lash extensions!
