DO NOT book this photographer.
We booked this photographer for our wedding and she was a complete nightmare to work with. She was completely miserable at our wedding and even complained to the bride that nobody gave her a piece of wedding cake!
She had us complete a questionnaire before the wedding, which was a waste of time because she did not even use it; we had to direct the photos.
It took 10 weeks until we received our photos. She gave us every possible excuse, broken computer, etc. etc. etc. She was extremely unprofessional.
Once we got our photos, they were absolutely terrible.
Our guests iPhone photos were so much better.
She never apologized once for the terrible quality of the photos.
— All of the photos are completely overexposed, white balance is off
— People in the photos are distorted and out of focus
— Everything is blown out
— Photos that we very specifically asked for are nowhere to be found
— Most of the family photos are ruined by people blinking, making a strange face, or standing far apart
— The photos are terrible beyond repair
— A number of photos are destroyed by the photographer clearly visible in the mirror
— All of the photos look like they were shot under florescent light
— There is no detail in the background of the photos
— Wedding details photos hardy any usable photos, NO PHOTOS of the rings (BASIC photography 101)
–No photos of the band
To quote a review that came before ours:
” Wedding party didn’t make it to the recessional or processional photos
Not a single photo of parents and their reactions during the ceremony (this is Wedding Photography 101)
Centerpiece photos is under a spotlight, noisy with shadow
Overexposed, out of focus, high ISO again the light with no fill of flash pictures of cake –unusable“
We are not the first ones to have this experience with her (others have had similar experiences and we found out about someone who is still waiting to receive the photos that they paid for 6 months ago).
Sophia Banks is NOT a professional photographer.
She clearly does not know what she is doing.

Miss Banks is a joy to work with.
Professional, warm & courteous, flexible & willing to accommodate event schedules.
Not to mention her flawless eye for bringing out the best in her subjects.
Highly recommend, for any occasion.
