I’ve been to many places around the city looking for someone permanent to do a Brazilian, but none have come close to sugarbox in Vancouver. That’s all changed. Shelley is the one. The experience was OK — she’s quick and thorough, even if the conversation was a bit inane — but the results were fantastic. You have an option of regular wax and some new formulation for a few extra dollars. Upgrade. If you need to be waxed, see her. She’s really good at what she does.

What made me love her is her attention to detail and CLEANLINESS. You even get your own can of wax and she never reuses equipment that’s meant to be one time use only (unlike every other salon out there). What makes her even more awesome is that you don’t have to break the bank just to get stuff done. I had to be part of a bridal party where the bride and I went to her and the rest of the maids went with someone else and you can tell the difference! With the quality of make up she uses and the techniques she has, she definitely made the bride (and me!) glow with natural beauty and not just get slathered with color and powder. Makeup stayed on perfectly all night and into the wee hours of the morning next day! I LOVE her and her team, and you will too.
