Never was a fan of chocolate covered apples. I am by far the pickiest eater out there, but this place made me fall in love with them! Now that says a lot. I’m gonna be disappointed if I can’t find chocolate covered apples in NY comparable to those from here.

Got the caramel with peanuts. It was good. I really like the it when they cut it up so you can share with others.

Always beautifully presented, and tons of goodies to like. Great corporate gifts too, shows that you care more than Purdy’s lol. Just that back home, they give out taste samplers, or maybe I just missed it. Candy apples here taste much better than the fair’s, that’s for sure, and better presented too. Busy location, friendly service.

They do a pretty good job of setting up their storefront here — every single time I pass by on my lunch break, I instantly stop in my tracks to drool over their caramel apple display. They’ve got the basic apple n’ caramel pop, but why bother when you can have a double-dipped, chocolate chip and nut monstrosity for just an extra couple dollars? They have caramel apples with marshmallows welded to the tops before the extra layer of chocolate, looking like the apples sprouted some delicious, hypertension-inducing tumors of chewy sugary goodness. You can probably tell I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of time drooling over the displays. They don’t disappoint when you actually get one, either — an explosion of burnt sugar and tart apple. I find the apples tend to be a little unripe, but it works well when they’re dunked in hot sugar. Like most things in the PATH, it’s a little overpriced for what you get. They also have a variety of chocolates, ice creams, and chocolate covered marshmallows.

I first went to Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory in Winnipeg about 7 years ago! I was so excited when they opened up in Toronto! I love the chocolate and caramel covered pretzels and other yummy goodies. The apple treats are awesome as well. The staff are always nice.

British studies show that 52% of women prefer chocolate to sex, but c’mon is that really surprising? I will have to say I fall into that 52 percentile and why you ask? Have you ever tried RMCF’s Monster Skor chocolate caramel apple? Orgasm doesnt even begin to describe the feeling that overcomes you when you eat them as the caramel tangles on the tongue oozing and taunting the tastebuds into a frenzy of flavourgasm, then your mouth gets some tough lovin’ from the salted crunchy buttery Skor bits and lastly, the languidly melty chocolate leads to the ultimate palatable sensual release before the final bite down on the tart crisp and juicy granny apple gives you the tastiest money shot your mouth will ever know. Listen I don’t think this study is limited to women alone cuz trust me I see a lotta chubby hubbys lining up at RMCF getting their fill of some sweet sumthin’ sumthin’ too! So folks, if your man comes home smelling of nuts and fudge… well, now you know what’s been going down. My clinical conclusion? Until boyfriends, husbands and partners at large start looking like David Beckham, talking like Tom Hardy, or moving like Channing Tatum… we’re gonna have to plead a headache and reach out for some sexy chocolate coated-apple caramelly lovin’ and preferably, we will be reaching for the ones from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory :9
