I started this bootcamp about two years ago. I was a very sedentary person and never liked physical activity. Rob’s bootcamp changed my life. I now love to challenge myself physically and I am appreciating a more healthy lifestyle. I would suggest new members to do the 6-week challenges because it will motivate you to work your hardest and focus on your nutrition. You will see results quick if you attend classes 4−5x a week and eat well! You will be given a nutrition package/guidelines. The classes are hard but the trainer’s are positive and motivating. Yes, I am one of his clients with a before and after photo on Unilocal. My arms and legs have toned up nicely and belly fat reduced. I also won a TV from one of the challenges. I started as a Groupon and then became a long-term member. I definitely recommend this bootcamp! It’s not a fancy place but you have the necessary equipment to get the results! Your body and mind will thank you!

So how did I get to try this gym out? There was a great groupon deal, my two girlfriends also wanted to try out a bootcamp, all the reviews were praising the gym as something out of this world amazing! The three of us bought the groupon for an unlimited month. Impressions: 1. The website of this gym is so sketchy and outdated… it hurts your eyes to look at it. But it’s ok, nevermind we signed up anyway. 2. The gym itself is really really not what I expect a professional gym to look like: worn out equipment, equipment all over the place,(badly)hand written signs all over the place(e.g. «station#1: burpies and lunges» etc) — how hard is it to print and laminate signs just to make it look neat? 3. The instructors don’t project an image of professionalism/confidence either. I attended multiple classes on different days and only ever encountered two instructors(one of them being the owner). What strikes me is that most of the time most of the class didn’t know if they are doing things right and we were only given feedback on our performance if we asked(in comparison to GoodLife where the instructors correct anything you do wrong so that you don’t injure yourself). My friends and I also did a mini test and did everything wrong on purpose to see if the instructor corrects us… she never did, because she didn’t even really look at the students… What shocked me is that their«regular» membership price is something around $ 300 a month as was presented to me when I went to discuss my overall fitness level.(my groupon was $ 35 and from what I understand all the ladies(btw almost no guys there) signed up on groupon or other deals). For this premium price you are definitely better off signing up to GoodLife or if you want to go premium then to Equinox Gym. The only couple of things I liked are: 1. You get automatically signed up for regular email updates with fitness meal plan and recipes. 2. The fitness assessment I almost liked it if the instructor actually seemed to care about what he was telling me. Well, I’m glad I only paid $ 35 for the program, but can’t believe there are so many 5 star comments for this gym…

I have been a part of Rob’s bootcamp for 5 months. For someone who’s rarely worked out before, this bootcamp made it so easy and motivating to attend classes. The coaches and trainers were all very encouraging and supportive of my goal and constantly checked in with me about my workout and food log progress. The classes were challenging but rewarding, and Rob almost made sure to maximize our workouts within the class time(sometimes even pushing beyond class time to make sure we all had a good workout in). I love the variety of classes, which makes it always fun to go to class. I can do circuit training one day, then cardio/abs the next day, to polymetrics the following day. Within the first 2 months, I went from not being able to do a single pushup to doing 49 pushups in 1 min, and planking for almost 7 min. I feel stronger and leaner than ever, and I really couldn’t have done it without the support of Rob and his team.

I signed up for the 6 wk boot camp challenge just over 6 wks ago and I couldn’t be more impressed/happy w/my results so far! I’ve been so happy w/the program I even committed to a yr long program/membership b/c I can see how well it works! In 6 wks my strength has doubled in a lot of areas and I took my plank from 2:35 to over 6 mins and I’ve lost 11.5 mm of fat from my stomach and arm area. I wasn’t really out of shape/over weight when I joined so to see these kind of results already is pretty incredible! Can’t wait to see what the next 6 wks brings! I especially love how hands on all the coaches are. The morning classes that I do are relatively small and the coaches are there to guide not only your training but also your meal plan which is really helpful. Plus you get lots of interesting articles/recipes/motivational material from Rob via email and you can sign up for classes through an online program which is great!
