This pharmacy’s the worst! First of all, it’s always closed. 6pm on weekends and 9 on weekdays just isn’t good enough when you’re a pharmacy. Those are post office hours. The products aren’t particularly well-priced and the customer service is consistently below-par. On one occasion, after scouring the store for help for an extended period of time, my wife walked up to the associate in cosmetics who was occupied applying lipstick to her lips. When my wife asked about the iron supplements she was greeted by that«why are you interrupting me» expression some people put on subconsciously – you know the one I’m talking about. She then said«I’m sorry, I can’t help you with that department, you’ll have to find someone there», and continued with the application of her makeup. It’s no wonder this place is always empty.

Service is great. They can usually fill prescriptions in under 20 minutes. I have never been accused of prescription drug abuse(a nice change from Shoppers). Apart from the prescriptions, they don’t have the widest selection of cosmetics, household products, and snacks. And no pet food at all. Oh and they accept Air Miles.

I’m a sick puppy. Well, not *that* sick, but my decrepit body requires a number of medications to keep it running. Unfortunately, since I moved to Canada, I’ve needed to shuffle some prescriptions around due to things not being available here and whatnot. That’s where Pharma Plus comes in. Doris, the pharmacist there, is really nice and knows her drug interaction information so I don’t get my Ps and Qs mixed up and end up DOA. As for the rest of this shop… well, it’s got your usual drug store stuff: toothpaste, deodorant, batteries, makeup. The selection of makeup and face potions isn’t as nice as, say, Shoppers Drug Mart, but it’s doable. But yeah, it’s the pharmacy that keeps me coming back — not so much the other stuff. Therefore, I give this Pharma Plus a solid 4-pill rating!
