We had moderate hopes. Montréal is AWESOME! This place is tragic. Mediocre dancers. Then they try to play you for money. $ 20 back room to see them in jeans(naked on the public stage). Then $ 10 more to see them in underwear(guy was already naked on stage). Then more money for tease… what we already saw in public. Pathetic. We left and dancer went crazy. Just a pathetic place. Mediocre dancers. Pathetic management for letting lame ass dancers to be assholes. Then beg us to stay. Fuck those assholes!

Place is nice, decent prices, friendly environment, guys are hot and a lot to chose from, some are supper nice and fun to talk with. But there are some sharks in there, beware of those who will grab you for the private rooms, might not tell you upfront that each song sums the price, and might ignore your«no» or if you are uncomfortable… Someone had a very bad experience that made my review get to the bottom, because it made a very nice evening become a very sour one. If is your first time remember there is nothing free in there, if is your friend’s first time take good care of them, don’t let them disappear… The place is a very fun one but sadly is now in my blacklist

This place is horrible. I saw three strippers in the pole, the first one had a good body but that was just it, he danced as if he was in pain or pissed. The second one was fluffy as shit. The third and last one had the worse dancing moves I have ever seen in my entire lifetime. He actually thought he was the shit and he was the final show, so I was pretty bored by the end. The bar tender, was just rude, there is a 20 dollar minimum if you pay with credit, which they just take credit or cash and there is 20 dollar cover unless you arrived pretty late, like I did. 30 minutes before closing there is a 10 dollar cover. The place in the pictures looks nice, in reality it looks dirty and weird. Its so sad really, go elsewhere.

The space was too compact — wish they had a larger room! Boys were handsome and interactive! I had a lot of fun and was asked to touch his xxxx by a dancer, for free btw! My female friend had an amazing time! She danced with a guy on stage and fully enjoyed all the erotic moves :)

Not worth it. AVOID. They exploit your money and don’t want to work for it. Too much money for such a lousy experience. Don’t waste your money on lousy strippers. You’d be better off at Flash. Trust me.

I went here on Sat night. The men were hot… hot white dude with beard, pool boy you would do, and black dude who abs of steel. I loved the hip hop and the pole dancing. The vibe was fun! If you’re looking for a great night with the girls and you’re not afraid them pulling out their junk from their pants. I highly recommend.

The long term dancers are jaded, If you go to buy a lap dance you may have a good time, If you just want to watch, drink, socialize with good looking dancers best go elsewhere. Bar tender is rude to Americans, didnt bother to ask if I wanted a second beer. Dancers spend way too much time with their phones and each other.

We came here with a group of 10 for a bachlorette. A guy names Matt brought our bride on stage saying she was just going to watch. He ended up grabbing her by the throat and aggressively pushing her to the wall. She then said no and he continued to grab at her. We were furious with him and she managed to get off stage. She then told us he was saying inappropriate stuff to her and grabbing at her, we did not too him to bring her on stage either. We contacted the staff a few days later and explained what happened and Matt has been fired. All the other guys were wonderful. A guy named bob really changed our view of the place pretty quickly. He was nice and not pushing. We were just there to watch not to be touched. Bob was hilarious and really had us laughing. A extremely awful start but somewhat of a fun ending. Just wished the bride didn’t have that memory as she only will remember the awful part. So glad management fired Matt.

Be careful scams for the lap dance!!! Make sure that you are aware that it is $ 20 per song plus $ 5 room rental fee(rip off) which only last 2 – 5 minutes. So if you only want 1 song, tell them clearly as they will try to drag it on and milk you for more $$. Tell them that you only have $ 20 and to stop after 1 song! The dancers at these places are very sleezy and will try to take advantage of you to milk you for $$. The songs here are the same song over & over again so you don’t know when the song beings or end. I got ripped off as they charge me $ 200 for 5 songs and I thought that only 1 song have passed! So you must be super careful that you don’t get ripped off by the dancers especially as a girl going for the 1st time for a party or special event! They are doing it all for the $$ and its all fake. For the lap dance, my maid of honour didn’t know and gave the guy $ 20 upfront for 1 song, they also charged me $ 5 for room sitting fee. He saw that I had money in my purse so he took advantage of me. I didn’t keep track or couldn’t tell that 5 songs have passed and he dragged it on purpose! When I got out of the room, I was hit with $ 100(5 songs) and paid them $ 100 forgetting that we already paid $ 20 upfront for 1 song so I should have only paid $ 20. They used to same song over & over again so you don’t know the song finished & ended(Scamming)… He just wasted most of the lap dance time pretending to kiss me etc. which I didn’t feel anything so be really careful about the lap dance and watch the time. They are trying to milk for $$. The guy I had apparently was probably gay and wasn’t really into the lap dance, he was doing it for the $$ so it was pretty fake. He came by and asked me 3 – 4 times if I wanted a lap dance from him so I said yes, what the heck right? Best thing is to leave your purse with your gf and pay for that 1 – 2 song after the dance is over and you tell the dancer CLEARLY that you only want 1 or 2 songs! I went here for my bachelorette party on last Sat evening. I enjoyed my time there when they pulled me on stag for fun and asked for tips. I would recommend people to BESUPERCAREFUL with the lap dance. I think female strip clubs are more bang for your buck as you can to see more and the songs are distinguished so you know when 1 song finishes and the next one begins. The female dancers will ask you how many songs you want before you start while these male dancers are more sleezy and don’t ask. They try to drag it on and milk for more $$ so BEWARE! Some dancers asked for min $ 5 tip to go on stage and some were really nice and pulled me up without asking for $$. I gave them all a tip anyways. You can save costs by getting $ 1USD bills and $ 5 bills so you can tip more guys. Pick and choose your guys for lap dances carefully and choose the ones that was most fun when he pulls you on stage(non gay). Try to weed out the gay ones! LOL :). The lap dance was only ok also and I felt it was very fake, they are doing it for $$ purely! He just wasted some songs pretending to kiss me etc. which I didn’t feel anything so be really careful about the lap dance and watch the time. They are trying to milk for $$. My gf had a lap dance and the guy was very nice. He only charged her for 1 songs even though she had 2. Her guy was not gay and really into her. He came by, tried to talk to her in a friendly way and then pull her to the lap dance room. He tried to sleep with her for real but she stopped him as she was not comfortable.

I came here in April 2013 with 2 other girlfriends, and all of us were taken — we wanted to have one last epic girls night before we all split up and become grownups after university. $ 5 cover to get in. What they offered but that we regretted not doing is exchanging 20CAD for 19USD … in $ 1 bills. We envied the girls who simply had to slip a $ 1 bill in a stripper’s underpants and get pulled on the stage and got to dance with the stripper. Cocktails were at $ 7, and we indulged. We also bought individual lap dances for $ 20. My friend had hers in the seat she was sitting in, so we all could see. I went upstairs to the private booths. When I got up the stairs they charged me an extra $ 5, to which I said I only had $ 20. The guy let me in anyway. It was a very large booth and he actually didn’t take off his briefs, but I got a good glimpse of what was inside. As other reviewers mentioned below, I was allowed to touch, but I wasn’t intoxicated enough to go through with touching anything more than his shoulder. As for the stage, it is a narrow elevated platform and the guys take turns to get on and remove everything but their shoes and underpants. Some would actually whip it out, but they would always keep the briefs on. Overall, it was a good and fun experience. I can’t wait to come and take my other girlfriends here.

This is the first gay strip club I visited. It was a fun night. Lots too see. Some of the men were cute, some of them need work. All of them had amazing bodies. The music was great, it made me want to dance on stage with them and give them a few tips on how to work it. This is one of those places you go to have fun with friends, its pure entertainment. One draw back was the overpriced drinks, I find that most bars in Toronto charge way too much for drinks. Luckily we had pre drank a bit. I would definitely visit Remington’s again.

Ah Remington’s. I’ve been to this place twice and on both occasions the male strippers were EXTREMELY good looking. There was this one stripper, I think his name was Jesse, he was the only one who actually knew how to work the pole. Most of them just grab on to their weiner, make it hard, maybe do a little hip thrust or push ups and thats it. I didn’t really expect them to be as sensual as women anyway. So drinks were a little expensive and some dancers can be a little too… umm… interactive with their audience(taking you up the stage and doing the most uncomfortable things with you) but these types are maybe 1 in 10. Overall its a nice place to ogle at men who could be Abercrombie & Fitch models.

i like this place… the strippers can be a bit pushy. i told one that he reminded me of my ex, and for some reason, he thought that was a good thing and was pushing for a dance. such a turn off. all the hung guys never show their junk. boo. the mirror behind the stage is gross and full of fingerprint marks. the service is alright. you gotta buy drinks or the waiter/bartender looks at you like a turd. the washrooms are co-ed and the sink is very small in there. there is an entrance fee of $ 10 and the girls only have access to the second floor.

This was an experience and a half for me. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into requesting to come here for my bachelorette. What’s sad was that we got here too late, and only saw the last guys finishing up, and one other guy that wasn’t too eye catching. Saturday night. $ 5 cover. Mostly ladies in here, which I feel badly for any gay men that frequent the place, but I guess this isn’t the venue for them. Men. Fully Naked. I agree with what Sara KP says about female strippers being sensual clothes on or off, but guys either look dumpy(with their clothes on, at least we just saw a guys with jeans and boxers), or raunchy clothes off. Good times. Lap dances, I got dragged into one. Partially intoxicated, I had no idea what to expect or how much it was. After paying some door fee, I was brought into a room with a curtain. No details, but I was allowed to touch. Surprisingly, as it’s the opposite at female strip club. I have no idea what was allowed to happen behind these curtains. All I know is that two girls went in before me, and did not come out for a while. The whole thing was fun, exciting but made me uncomfortable and turned me into a small asian girl that laughs — tee hee!

For my 69th review, I thought I’d go a little raunch and review the infamous Remington’s Men of Steel! John F’s Remington’s review before me is pretty epic and gets down to the main business of what Remington’s is, that being a strip club geared for men, so I shall relate about it from a strictly female perspective. Truth be told the whole atmosphere is pretty balls out funny… get it :D. I mean watching a woman(depending on how attractive/nimble she is of course!) strip is pretty sensual, but watching a guy dance in a scanty cave man getup with NO rhythm, disrobe and spin his privates around meatspin style is just redonkulous! Sundays here is the only night ladies are allowed in so basically it’s all the horn dog«straight» or bi strippers or «gay for $$$» boys that come outta the woodwork to get some punani action. You’d think some of them are male nymphos just«working» to scratch an itch as some of them are pretty keen on asking you for a private dance of which costs $ 20& takes place upstairs in booths. Drinks here are outrageously priced as is the case at most adult clubs. The lineup of dancers range from flaccid to OMG!!! and have the usual cheesy/ironic stag names that are either astrological, animal or porn inspired. I’ll say 80% of them have no business dancing on a stage, and about the same percentile aren’t lookers either but if your lucky to catch one, there are the odd fellas here who both look good and who can actually work a mean pole routine. Everytime I’ve come here with a shy friend, she emerges a boy/man crazed fiend, throwing money and screaming at the dancers like Old Mexican dudes throw $$ and scream at cock fights(hmmm?) either that or the shy girls are embarassed to the hilt by some of the dancers flirtatiousness. Washroom facilities are downstairs and don’t think just because this is mainly a men’s club there is no ladies room because there is a separate WC just for us and oh look, it’s right next to the changeroom where the dancers prep before they take the stage. You may even get fleeting glimpses of some hot locker room action as the doors open and close surreptitiously. Weird observation #1 Many dancers on stage keep their socks on after fully disrobing(wtf? being fully nude with white socks in black light does not make for a sexy look!) as this is where they stuff their tips or worst case loonies. Weird observation # 2 If you really find yourself vacillating if a dancer is straight or gay just look at his boxers. If they are super gleamingly clean and look brand spanking new, he’s most probably gay but if they’re kinda shabby or there’s holes in them… Bingo! that’s a straight guy. So ladies, if you are looking for an alternative to a night out from the usual boring clubbing, try Remington’s on a sunday as it’s perfect for shits’n’ giggles and remember whatever happens at Remington’s, stays at Remington’s ;)

The club is outdated and caters to older men. The models are a mix from hot to not and about 50% only peel down to their underwear on stage. $ 5 cover, 2 drink minimum($ 7 – 8) for entertainment that lacks. One redeeming factor was a very flirty hot model who made a fuss over my friend for his birthday. Would not return unless an event with friends.

Some of these reviews have been greatly exagerrated. The Club — It’s what you’d imagine a strip club to look like; dark and poorly lit with cheesy rope light hanging from the walls. The crowd is typical lonely old men(60+) mixed with a couple young guys. Alcohol, like most bars in Toronto, are slightly overpriced. The Dancers — Most of these men aren’t hired for their looks. For every 10 dancers, 1 is actually hot. For every 5 dancers, 1 is hung. If you are a young guy looking to get hit on by a stripper forget it. These dancers will only approach you if you have grey hair, presumably because they are lonely and have more cash to spend. The Private Dance — If you get a private dance be careful to keep track of the number of songs that play. You are charged $ 20PERSONG, not per dance. You have to be direct as the stripper will strip slowly to pass the time and get more cash. Opposed to what others review, it is the stripper who decides where you can touch him. From what I hear, some of these guys are straight and will only allow you to touch them from the waist up, while some dancers are gay and will even go so far as to let you blow them but that depends on either 2 things: The amount of extra cash you give them, or if you’re actually a good looking guy and the stripper is interested. If you keep these things in mind, you’ll have a good time.

It’s the boys strip bar and always a good time. They usually don’t let chicks in unless it’s ladies night, which is frightful, but sometimes you can sneak in or go with someone who bartends there. For the most part the men don’t really«dance» in the traditional stripper sense, it’s more of a quick show of the package and a bit of a twirl. It’s all about the private dances in this world. Also the lighting is nothing to write home about and the seating is inches from the stage. Again, it’s not about the frills when it comes to the boys. Luckily, the clientele is not in it for the bells and whistles.

I live and work in Toronto, so i also play here. Now, i do not find myself at Remingtons on a regular basis, however, from time to time i like to go there for several reasons. Let me break the place down in point form: Location — it is right on Yonge St in midtown and very easy to find. «Picture it» — picture a long and narrow room, with one main stage and several raised platforms with poles in the middle for boys to dance on. The main stage is a good enough size, especially since it is usually only occupied by one dude. It is set against the wall, which is a large mirror, giving the viewers more to look at. There are 2 poles on the main stage. The lighting is for the most part dark, black walls, but proper lighting where needed. There is one bar at the front, but lots of cute boys in underwear walking around doing table service. Dancers — this is where it gets good. There are all types of guys plying their trade here. Go on a Monday after work for some drinks with friends and you will be watching the same 5 or 6 sketched out raver casualties trying to make rent or pay back a drug debt. It can be depressing, but also sometimes interesting. As the night wears on, more guys show up, mostly the«for rent» types. You will find a lot of gay for pay going on here. As the week moves along, the dancers get better looking, and more of them show up. Sunday night ladies are allowed in(the only night when they are allowed) so the place gets packed with women and fags, and of course strippers. You get the same guys who are there all week, PLUS, the dudes who dance for women, but will also take a tip from a fag, because money is money, right. Each dancer performs for 3 songs and go right down to nothing. Full frontal nudity is the norm. Private Booths — the DJ will constantly remind you over the speaker that each dancer is available for a «private dance» in the upstairs booths for $ 20. I think it’s a great deal! Take your pick of any guy, go upstairs(make sure you have a 2 dollar coin on you because for some reason some kid is at the top of the stairs charging you to use the booths — weird). The booths are hilarious. Basically they are like being in a high school bathroom stall, but instead of a toilet there is a little ledge for you to sit on. The guy of your choice then takes off his jeans or whatever he has on right off the bat and tells you that you can touch him anywhere you want. Anywhere. You get one song for $ 20 bucks. You can then negotiate further what you want to do Drinks — a little over priced, but not too bad. Stick to beer. Mixed drinks are weak in my opinion. Music — depends on who is dancing I think — they choose their own songs, but usually it’s a mix of typical gay dance music(which I hate). Clientele — everything from corporate types coming in from the stock market, to college boys out for fun, to alternative queers, leather men, bears, and on Sundays, soccer moms with the rest previously mentioned. Conclusion — this place is a great experience and more so later in the week and sometime after 9pm for sure. The later it gets, the better it becomes. Don’t be fooled by the website(it shows pictures of the dances) — only a small portion of the dancers choose to be on the site. Cover — $ 5 at the door, some nights are free

So… as a Unilocaler, I feel it’s my job, nay, DUTY to see all that I can see and share my thoughts with the community. And if that means seeing some skin, I’ll make the sacrifice! Being from the states, and never being to a male strip club before, let alone gay OR full frontal, I’ll be honest… I was in a bit of shock. I went with some friends to «check out the gay strip club in Toronto» that we heard so much about. I’ll be honest… we were a little underwhelmed at first. The«gentlemen’s clubs»(aka: scantily clad ladies dancing for men) I have been to(I’ve been to one… with a friend who needed someone to go with, and I was game) have it much better as far as ambiance is concerned. And, guys aren’t usually good dancers, especially the straights(I had a sneaking suspicion most of the strippers would be digging the ladies more if they were around, but are comfortable baring it all in front of gentlemen that have a vested interest in their performance). These guys were no exception. However, and how should I say this so as not to offend any PG Unilocalers… I’ll word it as I once heard it in a very good musical, some of these guys are“packin’ a stretch limousine.” And, they all have pretty rock hard bodies(shame on you for thinking of something else!). As for the standard logistics, they serve alcohol(which, to be honest, I was surprised), and they do private dances off in the back somewhere(without paper $ 1 currency it’s kind of hard to tip as they’re performing on stage, and, of course I don’t know how much private dances cost! I was there doing my Unilocal duties!). Friendly waiters and, if you’re there with friends and give yourself a few minutes to get over the shock of where you are and what’s happening, you can have a good time(and I mean that in the PGest of sense! Have R rated fun on your own). I believe«ladies night» is Sunday. Michael B., Unilocal Elite ’08, signing out :)
