I got one of those wild organic seaweed facials through Ethicaldeal. Jo Ann looked after me. The facial was very cleansing and soothing and after she was done with me, I was glowing. Jo Ann was really great and didn’t try to push products on me(something I’ve suffered through with other spas. Kind of cheapens the treatment when that happens). I got a few samples of the line to try at home(I will definitely be buying the product. You can’t go wrong with seaweed). I’m going to go back for another facial before the holidays, cos I want to SHINE!!! LOL. All in all a great place(very cosy space off Yonge Street, just north of St. Clair).

I bought a deal for a wild organic seaweed facial here and had a great experience! It’s a quaint center that provides reflexology, massage therapy and a few spa style treatments with wild organic seaweed. My esthetician was friendly and took the time to address my skin’s needs before the facial. There were no extractions done, it’s more of a detoxing facial with cleansing, toner, mask and massage(super pro: amazing hand, arm, neck massage!). I LOVED the products used(Canadian? Organic? Wild and all natural? Awesome!) and my skin is still glowing a week later. The seaweed was chock full of nutrients that has made my skin softer and smoother, and the esthetician informed me of the benefits of kelp along the way. She was more than pleasant and offered just the right balance of information and peacefulness that a facial should have. At the end, she wrote down which products she used — she wasn’t pushy at all, and I actually appreciated that step because I did want to buy some cleansers. All in all, a lovely spot for all natural/organic products and treatments. I only wish they offered more spa treatments, because my facial was fantastic and I will definitely be back! And at only $ 65 for a nourishing facial, it’s something that doesn’t have to be a once-a-year treat. Bonus: they sell some incredible products that are well priced. Aside from the all natural seaweed line, they sell fantastic mom/baby/body products by Matter, which I’ve only seen at the One of a Kind show so far. Kudos for that.
