Placebo Space is a super swell bar that gathers many local aspiring Comedians, Musicians, and Designers. I love going there with a suit acting like an important showbiz SNL executive to try to pick up some of these hot comedian chicks — beats my casual Thursdays trying to join a ménage à trois at a sketchy Etobicoke swingers club.

This event space is amazing. The interior is a wild mix of fun décor, interesting lights and some spectacular craftsmanship. The staff is super friendly and the drink and food prices are great. Also on the first and third Thursday of every month the have a live stand-​up comedy show that ain’t your grandma’s comedy show! It’s absolutely hilarious. Its hosted by these two comics, the one guy was named Kyle I think. He’s very funny, and his «friend» too. Haha! I went to the last one and headliner Ben Beauchemin tore the lid off the place! I will definitely be going back every other Thursday for that. Overall, wonderful place, incredible atmosphere, and tons of fun. Would recommend this hiddem gem to everybody (even my grandma!)

Held a private event here and it was amazing! The venue looks like a art gallery, and service was top notch! Thanks for Melissa, Joe and the 2nd bartender, you guys were amazing! I will definitely book another event at this place!

I am so glad I found this spot. If you’re looking for a place on lakeshore where you can hangout with your friends, enjoy some live music, and great tea. This is the place! The customer service is a 10/​10, as well as the artwork and friendly laid-​back atmosphere.

Wow what a place. Was there last night to see a awesome new band called Employees Only. The atmosphere was great Not to loud you could still talk to the people around you. IT was like being in your basement. with your friends on a Saturday night. Relaxed and easy going. The staff were very friendly .I think i have found a great place to go to sit back and enjoy the tunes or what ever is going on. It Drop in i don’t think you will be disappointed.

This is a beautiful space with incredible, unusual music. It has a very cozy feel and and an ultra-​cool, artsy feel to it. Absolutely loved the group I saw there a few months ago and will be seeing again tonight: the Kitchen Orkestra. They were wonderful, easy to listen to, unusual in a good way, fun, and extremely talented (fiddle, guitar, trombone, double bass and percussion). Loved their gypsy/​celtic sound! Can;t wait to go back.

Went to Placebo Space for an early morning coffee.
They have Fair Trade coffee beans, and incredible customer service.
Love the paintings, and the setup.
I’ll be there pretty often for morning coffee’s!
Waiting for the WIFI, and will end up spending hours on end there.
