I come here regularly. The prices are good, and the staff are polite and do a good job.

awful! rude… i went early to get my nails done, while doing my nails she never asked about the shape, or length. So i told her the nails were too long as she was cutting them, she rolled her eyes and told me i should of told her sooner… like really? DONOTGOHERE… ALSO, the nails were crooked. so unhappy with this place.

Polite and friendly(doesn’t over do it) ladies. $ 25 for pedicure only. Very clean, fairly large nail salon. Good selection of magazines which is a plus! Provided a big plastic bin for me to place my bag(nice!) The lady doing my pedicure was very considerate. Asked me if I wanted to use the razor(yes please! Hard to find places that use the razor to scale off the dead skin on your feet! You can scrub all you want, nothing works like the razor). For this reason alone, I will return. Really strong smell of nail polish though — stronger than other places even though the store is quite spacious and they had the front door opened

I came here last week with a coworker; we took an extended lunch to get a pedicure done before she went on vacation. We arrived just before noon and while there were quite a few chairs full, they still had a few open, so we picked our colors and were seated right away. I think this goes for just about any nail salon, your experience depends on who you get as your technician. My technician was quite good, although I specifically asked her to cut my toenails quite short(I like them short) and had to ask her to do so again on my left foot because it wasn’t short enough. Other than that, she did VERY good work on my cuticles and did use the razor on my feet, which I like. But she ASKED if I wanted the razor, she didn’t just do it, which I appreciate. I’d had a pedicure two weeks before so I wasn’t really in need of a lot of maintenance on my toes but she still was very meticulous in preparing my nails for the pedicure. I was especially impressed with the polish — the polish I chose is very sheer and she put three coats on each of my small toes and about four(very thin) coats on my big toes. It looks solid and very nice a few days later and I’m pretty pleased with the results. I got a very nice design on my toe and here it cost $ 5, about $ 1 less than most of the other salons I’ve gone to. I was very pleased with the end product and it still looks fabulous after a weekend at the cottage. A few things I wasn’t so thrilled with: they put our feet to soak at the bottom of the massage chairs and didnt turn on the jets. So my feet just sat in kinda warm water, which isn’t exactly relaxing. My massage chair didn’t work that well either. Overall, not the best experience I’ve had getting a pedicure, especially since all in, I paid about $ 35 for it, but I would come back here in a pinch if I needed something done before I left work. I’ll stick to my salons in Durham though, I tend to get much better results for a better price!

Awful, cheap quality nails. Sure the employees are very nice and helpful, but if you have to keep spending money to get your nails fixed every week that doesn’t matter as much. I got a full set of UV gel nails, and that very night my french manicure had already chippef off of three nails. I went back in the next day to see Amy, who had originally done my nails for me, and she couldn’t take the ten minutes needed to fix it. Yes ok it was busy but c’mon, some people there did not have appointments they were walk ins, and as good business practice you should immediately fix mine so i dont have to stand there talking about what a bad job you did in front of all your potential customers, or so you’d think. Anyways I went back when I had a chance two days later and got it fixed for free. Amazing, but THEN the following week one nail broke right off for no reason i had not banged it on anything it just broke right off while i was reading a magazine. Also two other nails chipped severly that same night, im talking the whole french tip chipped off not a little chip off the corner. I don’t understand how cheap the quality of their products are, but I don’t frequently wash dishes or do any physical labour work so i was VERY disappointed at the low grade quality of the nail polish and of the«gel». Never going back again unless you want to pay $ 80.00 for one set of cheap nails. Yes first fix is free, but thereafter they will charge you as its been over a week.

Fast but not great if you want a quick pedi they are quick but I think that was a «massage» she did on my leg and don’t really scrub feet well actually the word for it is BORING!

i went here last week to have an acrylic nail repaired after going to a shitty nail salon less than a week earlier and getting a botched job on my fill. i walked in and was greeted right away. i sat down and explained to the lady(helen) that i wanted a nail repair and a polish change(i had a french done at the other place by airbrush and the lines were all crooked and smudged.) as she got started she asked me what i did for a living and i told her im a hairstylist. she then went on to suggest that instead of a regular topcoat she would do the biogel topcoat and i wouldnt get the chipping and staining from the colour that i was currently experiencing. she charged me 15 for the nail repair and the biogel topcoat. this woman is a genius. i have absolutely no chipping at all and my nails always look shiny and white tips instead of yellow nails. all i have to do is clean them off with alcohol and they are back to normal. after she was done she gave me a hand massage and a hot towel wrap. i have never had this done before with a nail re-fill. this was an awesome experience and i have booked my appointment for my full nail refill with the biogel topcoat for next week. i am very happy with this place and will definitely be going here from now on for my nail needs

Mani/Pedi for $ 35 + tip in a clean and kind environment = wonderful. Also, I’m really strange with my feet and laughed the entire time she was working on them and she was very sweet and understanding about it. I don’t normally spend dough on these luxuries, but if I do again I will definitely be returning here.

Formally Peony Beauty Salon, Rosy Nails & Spa is a good, cheap spot to get your mani pedi. The salon is by no means luxurious, but its very clean and has everything you need(ie massage chairs). The $ 35 mani/pedi had me at hello and I wasn’t disappointed. The girls there did a good job and were respectful — no openly making fun of clients in foreign languages or pulling at your skin causing gashes/blood. Get your feet sandal ready and check it out!
