This is a typical Toronto convenience store. With big box stores looming on the horizon, documenting these tiny businesses seems more important now than ever. After checking in with the Unilocal app, only after years of coming to this store, do I realize that it’s name is One Star, kinda cool in itself. They have a decent selection of chips and frozen treats, plus a magazine stand. The wall behind the til is decorated with winning lottery tickets as an incentive to buy. There is also a coffee pot on with a combo deal along with a beef patty. Totally adequate and convenient hours.
