I just went today for an appointment, and I have to admit at first I was worried, having bought a deal for this place online(you know how those deal sites are), but I had nothing to worry about! The girl who did my hair didn’t know english very well, but she did exactly what I wanted, and I love how it turned out! She seemed to really know her stuff, especially when it came to cutting, and she did a great job shaping my hair. The woman who did my manicure is the owner of the place, I think, and she was meticulous — one of the best manicures I’ve had. I decided to get my eyebrows waxed there too, and they turned out really well! All three service providers really knew what they were doing, and I definitely will be returning!

I tried this salon because there was a huge discount on their services, almost 85% off. The promo included wash, blowdry, cut, style, deep conditioning, color and shellac manicure for $ 39. I thought it was a good deal so I went for it. Even for $ 39, I wouldn’t go back there again. It’s not up to my standards. The place looks average and not spa like at all. It had a cheap look and feel to it. My neck was stiff and uncomfortable the whole time I got the wash, as he didn’t put proper towels to support it. The deep condition didn’t do anything great to my hair. My hair was actually very soft and silky coming into the salon, after I left, it felt very coarse, tough and thick. I don’t know what kind of cheap shampoo and conditioner they were using but my hair didn’t feel soft and silky at all! I hate the way it felt after. The blow dry was pathetic, I noticed the stylist didn’t have any real boar bristle brush! They were all cheap plastic brush and was using the wrong tools to style and blow dry my hair. Real boar bristle brush makes a huge difference in the texture and shine to the hair, the salon didn’t have any that I saw. I told the guy to cut/trim about 2 inches off my hair, he took off like 3 – 4 inches, which I’m pretty pissed about. I didn’t bother to get color because the lady next to me was mortified with her color job. It was platinum blond and mixed match brass color at the back. She looked like one of those orange monkeys, lol… I didn’t want to say anything to her as she was pretty upset already. So basically I paid $ 39 + tax for a cut that was pretty below average, as he didn’t do any styling to it(he thinks he did by putting some products into it). But it was a pretty mediocre job. Lesson here, don’t go to hair salons based on huge discounts until you’ve read reviews on it first! I mistakenly thought this was a higher end salon because of its location, but it’s not. Ughh… waste of time and money.
