My Salon On Richmond

A visit to My Salon on Richmond is like having a visit with your closest friends. Colin and his team are extremely warm, friendly and very professional and most importantly consistent. My husband says its the best haircut and colour I’ve ever had. I especially love the complimentary hand massage while waiting for my colour to set. I would recommend Colin and his wonderful team to anyone and I’m ecstatic they have moved to the neighbourhood!

Lovely Experience — as soon as I got back to my building — I put up (on the message board) a note and also the services take-​away for other guys and gals in my building to go see Colin.
He did a FABULOUS job on my cut and actually explained to me what my previous hair dresser had not done incorrectly.
I also receive a nice scalp massage as soon as the appointment began — it is part of the service — wonderful! Onto the Cut and blow-​dry — it was about an hour all-​together but I was told that from the beginning.
Colin takes pride in the service that he (and his staff) provide. I respect and appreciate that!
I already have my next follow-​up cut booked for the new year!

Also — FYI to the folks looking to book in — prices are VERY reasonable — especially for the city — $ 65 for a cut & blow-​dry.

I don’t want to be mean, but I do want to save others from going through what I went through: This was a painful experience! What should have been a quick and easy men’s cut took over an hour, while the stylist seemed to be practicing some of the basic cutting techniques, like using a trimmer and thinning shears. I get it, everybody has to learn somewhere, but it sucks to be the one wearing their mistakes. That is what hair mannequins are for. Words of wisdom: Be sure to ask for a senior stylist!

My first experience at My Salon on Richmond was fabulous! From Colin’s warm and welcoming smile to top notch haircut and customer service that he provided, I left feeling lifted after my appointment. My appointment started off with a very relaxing shoulder and neck massage using fragrant aromatherapy oils. This really took the edge off what had been a stressful day so far! He gave me a stellar new do and was so friendly and outgoing, I felt as though I’d left having made a friend as well as gained a new look. Also, during my visit, Colin gave me a tour of the spa facilities that they have on site and I will definitely be going back for a mani/​pedi sometime soon! The prices are fair for the quality of services they offer and I would highly recommend checking this place out for your next haircut or spa treatment!

What an experience! It all started with a warm hand wave from Colin through the large windows of My Salon. I was intrigued by the gesture and decided to pop in to see what this new salon was all about. Sean was available for a walk-​in appointment and I couldn’t say no due to the smiling faces of Colin and Sean.
The whole experience was so glorious and immediately I knew that this place would be my go-​to salon from here on out. The product line, Unite, is absolutely gorgeous and the smells are to die for. The complementary scalp and shoulder massage made for a very relaxing «spa-​like» experience and allowed me to enjoy myself that much more.
The haircut I received from Sean was so perfect and on point to what I wanted. What I really enjoyed was how Sean took the time to match my hair texture to a perfect hair style. My new cut works with my hair and allows for easy styling and maintenance. I can’t thank Sean enough for how well the cut has held up and I look forward to my next experience at My Salon.
