Muskat Brown is a women’s clothing store that specializes in petite sizes. The clothes are really expensive! Great quality though. I would say this place is good for very petite women who want serious work clothes or nice, classic evening wear, instead of being limited to teeny-bopper stores(which tend to have smaller sizing but the styles are ‘too young’ for some). This store definitely caters to a ~30−60 age range, although they do have the occasional trendier pieces. They carry higher end labels like Elie Tahari, Velvet, Alice & Olivia, Theory, and Stuart Weitzman. I say«very petite», because unless you are under 5“1, you can probably get by shopping in ‘regular’ sizes. But Muskat Brown has some super-tiny stuff, including shoes starting at size 4! They carry shoes up to size 7.5 and say that they are geared towards those 5’4″ and under, but if you are 5’4″ and have 7.5 feet, I don’t see a point to coming here. I would say petite sizing makes the biggest difference in things like dresses or blazers. But for pants, I would just buy from regular stores and get them hemmed. For more affordable petite clothes, I’d recommend Banana Republic, J. Crew, and Aritzia/Talula/Wilfred. They have big sales twice a year(end of summer and Boxing Day/January), but otherwise, you don’t see things marked down very often. Also, I find the salespeople here a bit cold(if they think you can’t afford to buy anything).
