Plenty of free parking and one of two drive-through McDonald’s in downtown Toronto. As usual, McDonald’s is consistent throughout North America. Virtually identical menus. Visit soon before Galleria Mall gets the extreme makeover!

wherever i end up on a day out with my son he make s me stop for a McDonalds. I find them to be a tasty mid day filler. plenty to choose from and normally taste freshly made. 1 or 2 exceptions of course. Once a week

This McDonald’s is the absolute worst in the area. Always crowded, with lineups up to at least 25 people. Never enough people working it seems. The long wait would be fine if the food was any good, but somehow they manage to make McDonald’s food seem even worse than usual. And of course after you wait 15 minutes in line to get a McCafe drink, half the time you find out that McCafe machine isn’t working(literally this thing is apparently broken every other day). The cashier employees are very polite, but the managers are usually pretty rude and unhelpful. Honestly, if you can help it, just take the 10 minute walk down to bloor street and go to the Tim Horton’s at Gladstone and Bloor, or go to the dufferin mall McDonald’s instead. You’ll be much better off. Not only will the food be better, but you’ll also be able to get a hot drink without wasting your time for 15 minutes! And it’s probably faster to walk to the Tim Horton’s anyway than the amount of time it takes to wait in line at this McDonald’s for bad service and unappealing food.

As McDonald’s goes the food is pretty standard. What makes this particular one rate only one star is the supremely bad service from the staff, particularly in the drive-thru. The service is always slow and sometimes the food is cold even though it is supposed to be «freshly prepared». I can’t count the number of times they’ve screwed up my order. I have had many incidents of poor service there prior to this one but lets be realistic, nobody expects stellar service at McDonald’s so I kept going back out of convenience. One time I was coming home from work late one night and decided to stop there for dinner because I didn’t feel like cooking anything. I pulled up to the window to get my my order that totaled less than $ 5. I went to hand the drive-thru person a five dollar bill and she promptly refused to take it, declaring that it was counterfeit. She hadn’t even touched it. She saw it in my hand and just stated that it was fake without even examining it. I worked in retail for a few years and know exactly how to spot counterfeit money and articulate exactly what is wrong. So I asked her to explain specifically why she thought it was counterfeit. She was unable to do so and neither was her manager who also refused to even examine the bill, instead opting to take his employees word for it. It was obvious that neither one of them had a clue how to spot counterfeit money or how to articulate it if they did. I considered telling them to call the police since I was so obviously committing a crime(#heavysarcasm) but decided against this because I didn’t want to waste their time too. Instead I took their names and the next day went to a bank and got them to verify that the bill was not counterfeit. I then wrote a letter detailing everything that happened and mailed it to the president of McDonald’s Canada. An actual letter is always better than email when complaining because it’s so rare these days and gets the other party’s immediate attention. A few days later I got a call from someone at McDonald’s Canada apologizing to me for what happened and she assured me that all employees at that location would be receiving«re-training» on spotting counterfeit money. I asked her what use is re-training if the employees won’t even physically examine the money before declaring it counterfeit? She had no response to that and just repeated that the employees would be re-trained. She asked me if I would like some gift certificates for my trouble and I ended the call by saying no thank you. I haven’t been back to that McDonald’s since then.

Since they hired new morning staff, average wait time for a coffee is 20 minutes. Soo frustrating.

Not only was it the worst service I’ve ever experienced from McDonalds, but it was the worst service I’ve experienced in general, in my whole life. Order was completely wrong/missing items. Was treated like a pile of crap.

the clientele at this mcdonalds is out of hand. nothing against the employees who work here, it’s the customers who smell. I just got back from eating here and can’t get the stench of p*ss out of my nose. I had to stop eating half way through my meal because I was so repulsed from having to look at and smell the other customers. also, as one other reviewer mentioned there is a unsettling looking man who sits in the corner at a prime table 24⁄7 drinking coke out of a senior’s coffee cup. he should be banned. mcdonald’s doesn’t need another ronald mcdonald creeping everyone out.

This restaurant smells like piss and there’s a crazy old guy with a black wig on in the back corner all the time who never orders anything but they won’t kick him out.

McDonald’s is McDonald’s, I’ve worked one and their made the same way. Service gets me and you know what. This doesn’t even deserve a star. This is the closes McDonald to my bfs house so we come get food at night after drinking or going gone late. Most of the time it’s always after 11. Which is when«overnight people start work» This mcds is so called 24⁄7 but for the last 6 or 7 times I’ve came either the drive thru is closed or the inside is closed. And this really pisses me off, I got I. One time just a bit after 11 and asked one of the crew members why it’s always close at night and he replied that«no one shoes up for their shift cause no one wants to work overnight weekdays» sorry that doesn’t cut it. Might as well be a god damn store that opens till 12 then closes for the rest of the night. Ridiculous, the boss of this store better get things straight on how to run a business because I’m getting very feed up coming here and it being closed. I’m very sick of seeing the«sorry we are closed for the night» paper bullshit. I’ve worked at a 24 hour mcds and you only need around 3 people plus the manger. This place needs to improve on their management because the next time I go back and this shit happens again I’m gonna start calling management.

This McDonald’s is always crowded, with many people who came here to eat, along with several other neighbourhood nomads who seem to be here to hang out. McDonald’s feeds my chain junk food salt addiction, like Tim Horton’s does for sugar addicts. I do not blame McDonald’s for creating my addiction, even though I came from a time when Mc Play Places and Ronald McDonald were everywhere. This store is usually cleaner than many McDonald’s, and unlike some other McDonald’s and a popular donut franchise, also manages to clean some of its debris from the parking lot. The service here is ok, but has a bit of a «we’re McDonald’s. if you had to wait 10 minutes for your order, too bad!!» McDonald’s could easily knock 10−20% of the salt out of their breakfast burritos(hell, and everything else), and no one would miss it. However, I guess once you create an addiction, you need to feed it. I’ll be back for my sausage McMuffin soon.

I hate that I love McDonald’s breakfast, but McDonald’s breakfast isn’t quite McDonald’s, every junkie knows that. Unfortunately, I’m also a fan of the McNuggets and Bic Mac, which is becoming an issue. I just moved a few blocks from this glorious location, and I’ve been here twice already. It’s a big clean McD’s with an efficient staff, but there are lurkers in this place, so be aware. Today while I was waiting for my salty dark mistresses, someone swiped my order while I was on instagram*. I then had to wait a long time wondering if I’d missed my food, and finally reordered(at no cost, obviously) and got my goods to go. Props to whoever swiped my McMeal, McSneaky you McF. PEPPER”S PRO sweet and sour sauce. Honey? Pfft. Hot mustard? Bitch please. *Hipster karma?

This McDonald’s is clean, service is friendly and reasonably quick, and the fries we ordered were HOT. We came here on New Year’s day to start the year off… right? The cashier took the Hubster’s insane order in stride(he worked at McD’s as a teenager and knows all the extras you can get with a sandwich) and the food came out pretty quickly. It’s newly renovated which makes it pretty comfortable to sit in, if you’re into that sort of thing. The self-serve pop area is a plus. There’s also a 24-hour drive through, if you’re skeezed out by the sketchy area it’s in.

First trip here was pretty standard. The place wasn’t super clean, but they had someone cleaning and based on how busy it was I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that I just missed a big rush. The cashier could not understand my order to save her life. I had to repeat myself 3 times and she finally says«There is no McRib combo». I look up at the menu board and point to the giant McRib advertisement. She then says«Ohhh the McRib combo». Uhhhhh… yeah. The McRib was pretty tasty. Oh who am I kidding, one bite into it I remembered why it only comes around once in a while, and why I only ever have one when it does.

This is my go-to Mickey Dee’s as it is closest in proximity to my home but I hate it! It’s just the little things that get on my nerves: –not having ice-tea(on numerous occasions) -«forgetting» the sauces that I paid extra for –sloppily made burgers –filling my fries up half way –rude employees –incompetent employees –etc The last straw was when it was«2 can dine time», and my BF and I both got Big Macs. Took them home to eat and there wasn’t any lettuce on them!!! We obviously weren’t going to inspect the burger’s when we got them– just assumed lettuce would be included! Would never think that lettuce made such a difference, but with a Big Mac it really does. I hate to say that I know I will be back here, purely out of convenience(because I’m so lazy…) but will be INSPECTINGEVERYSINGLEITEMTHAT I PAYFORFROMTOPTOBOTTOM.

It’s hard to review any McDonald’s «restaurant» because even if it was the most immaculate place with flowers and a live jazz band, it’s still going to be some of the worst food you can ever put in your mouth. I should know better. I am not a teenager anymore so buying something like a Double Quarter Pounder at my age is unforgivable in my mind. In fact the last time I was there and ordered the aforementioned item the girl at the counter responded as if to say«Are you sure you want that?» Alright. So we know how terribly unhealthy the food is, but at least the price is cheap, right? I could not believe how expensive McDonald’s food has become! A regular Quarter Pounder is now over 4 dollars. And not only is the food way more expensive, but it’s actually dropped in size and quality — if that’s even possible. Continuing with my «old man rant,» the menus are completely different than I remember. Instead of having a uniformed list with burgers, drinks and fries they now have some sort of nonsensical pictograms pushing their specials and combos. Granted I am usually a little drunk and/or stoned when actually craving McDonald’s, but I couldn’t really make heads or tails of it all. The service is what you would expect at a 24-hour McDonald’s at Dufferin and Dupont. The employees seem very disgruntled and range from teens with attitude to quiet old men mopping the floors. They just sort of toss your food on the counter without looking you in the eye — a far cry from what they portray in commercials, or even the standards this place had 20 years ago. Like any kid I used to love McDonald’s back in the day. But I think whatever«magic» this company used to have disappeared back in 1993. The food still tastes the same, but to me I almost compare late-night cravings for this junk to be similar to a drug addiction: you know it’s terrible for you but you somehow can’t resist it. Even when I finally ate my burger it felt like a quick fix and I was ashamed of myself. I have been to this place twice in the past two weeks after avoiding McDonald’s pretty much my entire adult life. The fact that I am actually going to try and resist eating here again is not a good look. It’s a habit I must break immediately.
