Great place! Very unique! I am visiting from California and I never knew there was a place like this for people like me, Marshmallow Aficionado. So many flavors, that I had to come back the next day. The little chocolate cups were so good, each piece is like an art. A very friendly owner too. They even have waffles! Great with marshmallow toppings!

My daughter awaited the opening of this place anxiously for what seemed like forever! As we drove by one day last summer my little girl spotted the door open and begged me to go in. To put it bluntly and as honestly as I can my NINE year old wasn’t impressed! The anticipation that grew waiting for the ‘Marshmallow Factory’ to open fizzled away as to both our amazement they didn’t even offer freshly made marshmallows! Instead they offer marshmallow cream,(think marshmallow fluff you can buy at just about any grocery store) and an assortment of mass produced vessels such as cookie cups and cones that you can eat the marshmallow fluff out of. The place also sells very over priced marshmallow confectionary imported from the UK. If you’re looking for freshly made organic marshmallows or anything FRESH you should probably skip this place. If its expensive unique imported candy you seek just walk a few blocks to Sugar Mountain or Suckers! My daughter and I both were very disappointed.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this place, as the front sign, which is VERY colorful, had been up for, seemingly, a couple of years but no actual business behind the covered windows and door. I had long ago given up on it ever actually opening and then, all of a sudden, it was open. I’m now not really sure what to expect from it as they seem to make and sell marshmallow cream and you can buy it in a plastic container with added fruit or candy or chocolate chips-which seems odd to me. Or you can have it spread on a pita, which seems even more strange to me. Or some on cookies. I opted for a small plastic container with fruit-as there is an almost-appetizing picture of that on the wall that contains strawberries and raspberries and some other fruit. Sadly, the choices were sparse this day do I went with just blueberries which came to a total of $ 5.07. So yeah, it tasted vaguely of marshmallow, although there were strange bits of something brownish in it-possibly from the blueberries, but I don’t think so. It also had a slight taste of being booze-ish but that’s not likely. It’s a little pricey and I’m sure he’ll do great business because of kids seeing the front sign and ‘needing’ to go inside and there do look to be some interesting little cakes and cookies, but overall, I wish I had just gone to a grocery store and bought a jar of ‘Fluff’ and brought it home and cracked it open in front of the TV while I work on making myself fatter. And more jolly.
