I had an absolute blast here last night during an invite only shopping party.
Wine was flowing and they had great little nibbles from Phat N’ Phull catering.
The staff are very fun and their products, mostly leather, are just stunning. I plan on saving a few pennies and investing in a great jacket from here soon. Also love supporting a Canadian company, M0851 headquarters is based in Montréal.
Treated myself (said in a Tom Haverford voice) to a gorgeous soft dark aqua coloured cashmere scarf which I will be rocking this entire winter. Swag!

Lovely store with high-​quality, minimalist leather bags and beautiful outerwear for men and women. Calm, cordial, pleasantly helpful staff. Prices are somewhat high, but the goods are actually worth it. A Montréal-​based company.

BEST LEATHER IN THE CITY!!!
I’ve had a backpack from there for years. Its still beautiful and durable. I find this company more stylish than its other Québécois counterpart– Rudsak. I’ve had problems with zippers on a Rudsak bag and Rudsak wallet.
I’ve heard that M0851 does a boxing day sale too. Their leather is soft, stylish, luxurious. Excellent knowledgable and non-​pushy staff.

I always try to support brands where the products are made locally. So, M0851 was really just the perfect store for me. All their leather goods (bags, jackets, wallets, etc), you name it, were all made in their leather house in Montréal. How cool is that?! It really was nice also to see more Canadian brands popping up in Toronto’s retail world, because let’s face it, all we really know is, ROOTS. =/​* I would say M0851 is a tad bit more luxurious, whereas ROOTS is more casual.
The design of the store is simple but chic; and oh, can I say the smell of «genuine» calf skin leather — was O-​So-​Nice! My favourite were their bags. If I had a bigger budget, I would buy several of them, but I just settled with one for now, which is their Vachetta Shopping Tote in cognac. Just love it! And might I just add a note, that I can tell the Sales Associates were really passionate about the brand they worked for and were also extremely knowledgeable as well because they explained to me the properties of leather and how they work; and I was just totally fascinated! Literally, the most friendliest service I have ever received in ANY retail store. The BEST! Jackets and coats were lovely, but just a little steep for my wallet as they can set you back as much as a Grand. But I am saving up for one down the road, hehe… because they are just of impeccable quality!
M0851, you’ve earned yourself a loyal customer and I will be coming back for more goodies as I start a piggy bank just for you. ;)

This store is awesome, and might have a cultish following… And I have to admit that from the first time I visited I was totally converted! I went in looking for a men’s messenger bag for my boyfriend after scouring the city. I ended up finding him one these that is classic, stylish and durable. I wasn’t planning to spend M0851 prices, but when I realized how much he’ll use it, spending a little more made sense since it will last a lot longer. The fact that it’s designed and made in Canada is a nice bonus.
I went in this week just to look and ended up walking out with a beautiful cross body bag, at 50% off. The leather is incredibly soft, the style is classic and simple, or «clean» as Brian calls it, and I can see myself wanting to use this bag for a long time.
I have always had great experiences with the sales associates, they aren’t pushy, have excellent product knowledge and love their product. And, if you add your name to their mailing list, they will give e-​mail you a head’s up on sales and special events.

I love their buttery soft, yet durable leather. I own a M0851 bag. It is my everyday carry-​all bag. I have gotten a lot of use out of it.
Pricing is a bit high. But you are paying for something that would withstand the test of time and never go out of style. I like that it’s made in Canada.
