Truly sad that is mainstay in Toronto is closing its doors. Lana Lowen is a true bridal guru. I was on the hunt for a dress that was classic, vintage and embodied my personality. Lana welcome myself and my new baby with open arms. I ended up purchasing a beautiful gown that I will wear on my wedding day and cherish. Thanks for your help, guidance and I wish you your husband the best in your further endeavors.

As the bride’s sister, I was excited to go in with her and be part of the process. I was taken aback by how this place has it’s own unique style of understated elegance that really suited my sister’s aesthetic. I can definitely see how Lowon would stand out in the wedding market because of this.

if you’re in the market for a wedding dress and you don’t want to get a fairy tale princess cut puffy dress with a train that goes on for a block, then i highly recommend this shop. Lana Lowon who designs the dresses along with her husband, is amazing at what she does. Price-wise, it’s not cheap but there are some dresses on the rack that are in the $ 600 – 700 range. You might be able to get a sample dress but failing that, if you’ve suddenly struck gold or won the lottery and have a couple thousand dollars to burn, then you can get a dress custom-made. I would recommend booking an appointment(Sundays and I think mondays). Even though I had an appointment, a lot of women were peeking in the window and a couple of girls ended up coming in so it was pretty busy. There are no princess cut dresses there. Lana really pays attention to your body shape and will be honest with her opinion. She will help you select a dress that will flatter your figure. The dresses are very beautiful and elegant. Thumbs up!
