I am in California and I have been feverishly calling everywhere in the US trying to find a solar filter so that I can watch the Venus transit next Tuesday. Everyone here is completely sold out and the filters are on backorder. I called Kendrick and spoke to Jim. I told him my predicament, the type of telescope that I have and — voila! — he made a filter for me and it is en route as we speak.
I cannot express how ecstatic I am that I will be able to use my new 10″ Dob to view this once and a lifetime event.
