Purchased a ‘LivingDeal’ voucher for Karma Kollective and was very impressed with the overall experience.
Called on Friday to request a Saturday morning appointment (before a wedding) and Roxanne was able to schedule me in.
The studio is located in a loft, with high ceilings and simple décor, which creates a very warm, relaxing environment.
My stylist was John Paul — he’s funny, easy to chat with, and really takes the time to ask and understand the style you want. My hair is just past shoulder length. I’m working on growing it out so John Paul shaped and layered it nicely.
I was a bit skeptical that the blow-​out would last all day (since my hair is so flat) but overall, I didn’t lose that much volume and was happy to bob around on the dance floor all night.
A wash, cut and style will run about $ 60.
