It’s hard to screen pediatricians before finding one that’s accepting new patients, and learning whether the employees there will all be a good match for your family. I really enjoyed interacting with Carla the receptionist, even before visiting. I found the nurse to be a no-nonsense type. Dr. Greenberg, who has an impressive enough web page enabling patients and others to find out more about his professional background, is nice. I would have enjoyed continuing a long professional relationship with this clinic. However… while Carla’s awesome, and Dr. Greenberg would be good enough to keep, the nurse’s acerbic matter has been noticed each time we speak — both in person and on the phone. Even if someone is professionally competent in what s/he does, if that person is ill-equipped to interact with others(i.e. is not a people-person), then I personally wouldn’t want to develop a relationship with a clinic like that. It’ll be a loss to not continue with Carla and Dr. Greenberg, but I’d rather find a kinder, more people-person directed nurse who doesn’t butcher everyday nuances of conversational charm. ~~~ other: space is a bit on the narrow side, but good enough given that you’re not expected to stay and linger. There’s a parking lot nearby that charges $ 1.50/ 30 min. Otherwise, you can take the TTC and it’s not too far of a walk from the station.
