This is my go to nail salon anytime I am looking for a shellac manicure after work… and really my favourite nail salon in the city. I’ve been helped by a handful of the girls– Anya, Michelle, and two other individuals, who have all been professional, respectful, and give flawless manicures every single time. The salon facilities are very clean and there’s always a movie playing in the background, I’ve never felt uncomfortable here. Furthermore my manicures last between 2.5−4 weeks, depending on the length of my nails when I first went to the salon. AMAZING for a shellac manicure. The Good –Relaxed atmosphere –Clean facilities –Professional, well trained manicurists The Average –Price is about 48 after tax + tip which is standard in the downtown area The Bad –I can’t think of anything which is really saying something :)

Michelle! She is the best manicurist I have ever seen! I’ve gotten plenty of manicures around the city and I hope I never have to go to anyone else. I got a shellac mani, 3 weeks and 4 days ago. It is still flawless! If my nails didn’t grow I still wouldn’t have to go back. Price is good in that $ 40 dollar range for shellac but I mean… for three weeks? WELL worth it! I highly recommend this place, but even more highly recommend Michelle. Honestly, she is the best.

The only place that does a flawless job and my nails don’t break until i go back for a refill! They dont do pedicures, its pricey and they take longer than average but well worth it.

Got my extensions & gel nails removed, then did a regular polish. Love that they use new nail filers for each customer. The girl that did my nails was very pleasant to talk to, and was very attentive and did a great job overall. Mean girls was playing in the background with subs so that was a welcome distraction as well. For some reason my check in discount was 20% instead of 25%, but oh well.

I have been looking for a good nail salon since I have recently moved, and having had a couple so-so experiences elsewhere. The reviews on Unilocal claiming a lasting time of 3 – 4 weeks(what I am used to from my previous salon) are what really persuaded me to try Glam-n-Glow. Upon my arrival they were able to accommodate me for a shellac manicure without an appointment, and provided pleasant customer service. They have a good selection of polish to choose from, and the technician was very friendly and did a great job. The space is nice, bright and has a comfortable atmosphere. I am hoping my shellac will last, so I won’t have to look any farther for a new regular salon. Additionally, upon first visit you get a percentage off, which is further incentive to try them out!

I loved this salon! Went in for a no-chip/shellac manicure and Michelle did an amazing job. She took a little longer than my normal manis but it was definitely worth it. Paid close attention to my cuticles and evened up my chipped/broken nails. Will be back next time I’m in Toronto

I don’t live or work near the PATH so I don’t come often but I stopped in here for a manicure. Cute, bright, inviting. The girls there are all nice and happy. There are movies playing on the wall so I had a really relaxing, fun experience there. My nails are beautiful and I will definitely go again. I’d call ahead if you want to be in and out because it’s a busy place! All these bad reviews are ridiculous and I was very surprised to see such a low rating of this place. I feel like people feel so entitled and mute when it comes to salons. If you didn’t like what was done, you tell them then and there, you don’t passive aggressively lash back at them behind your phone screen! …literally does nothing for you nor the business. Anyways, give them a try if you’re reading this! Sarah, the owner, is so pleasant and lovely. Will 100% be returning.

Excellent! So professional, but in a casual way. I could tell they were extremly knowledgable about the services they offer. I had a shellac manicure. $ 36 Most reasonable price Ive found downtown, for their level of expertise. This is not a little chinese nail salon!!! Im an esthetician too, but I don’t like to tell people that when I go for treatments because it makes them nervous. Normally when I get my nails done, there is always a bit of filing I need to do after at home, because they made a nail wonky, or they painted an edge of my skin… Im very particular. But these guys got it spot on. Ive not touched them, messed with them or had to file anything! Theres top 40 music playing, and tv with subtitles on in the background. I believe I watched, «what to expect, when you are expecting» with Jlo, Cameron Diaz and a few other famous faces. But I mention this because, not once did the lady doing my nails ask me, where I was going on my vacay, or what I did for a living, or if Im doing anything nice at the weekend. And I hate these conversations! They need to be stamped out of the beauty industry. I dont care where my clients go on holiday, its just crappy small talk, and if Im honest, I was really into the movie. I looked down an hour later and had a well moisturized pair of hands with beautifully shaped and painted nails. Thank you Glam-n-go! .

So after being persuaded with a free mani by Sara herself I decided to give Glam & Glow another try! Now I did not use my name to book this appointment as I did not want any special treatment I wanted my experience to be just like anyone else’s. I walked in was greeted & quickly sat down with my technician however I was not introduced to her and although she was very good I couldn’t tell you her name to recommend her for ur potential service.(Guess I should have asked) Anyway my experience this time was sooooooo much better! Although I’m not a fan of a dry mani(find it a bit painful at times) my tech was fantastic. I have horribly dry cuticles so they take some work probably also the reason I was there longer then the usual half hour appointment but I’m glad I didn’t feel rushed. I think their OPI selection is still lacking & I don’t think I should have to purchase a polish with a $ 2 discount just to get the colour I want. So overall I was pleasantly surprised with the change oh and I loved the makeup tutorials on the tv! So much better then some weird movie playing in the background! I will most likely return, just might bring my own polish!

I was here when this spot first opened and it was not a good experience. The manager graciously invited me back for a complimentary shellac manicure. For my second visit, I was there post-lunch rush so the situation was a lot different and more organized. I watched a movie while getting my nails done. I loved the shape, there was a great variety of colours and the colour has lasted over 3 weeks now which tells me the application was done perfectly because I tap on my keyboard and phone all day long and am not gentle on my nails. Great place to go for shellac but try to avoid the lunch crowd!

Went to Glam n glow today. Got an appointment on 2 hours notice. Had a shellac manicure that was ok. Not perfect, just all right. They don’t soak your hands at all so the cuticle clipping was painful. Nikita seemed very nice but was so soft spoken that I couldn’t hear a word she was saying. I like the look of the salon. It is bright and tidy.

This place is new to commerce court and I pass it every morning walking to work. I got a shellac manicure with a coworker before work at 7am. The store is very cute and the girl at front desk(Danielle) was extremely kind and helpful. Nikita did my manicure and was super nice, friendly and personable. They don’t have a big selection of shellac — around 15 colors and they are all OPI gel polish. They have a store opening promo that with any $ 30 purchase you get a free OPI nail polish of your choice(the colors you can pick from are awesome). The shellac mani was $ 32 before tax and I paid American Express which I find some companies don’t accept. The free polish I picked was OPI Pussy Galore which is a liquid sand polish. it has such an awesome texture. I will definitely come back to this place for a mani and I love that the hours start at 7am so I can get a mani before work hours!
