Garage

Without fail, I always stop by Garage when I am back in Toronto. If I remember correctly, it’s a Quebec-​based company, and has yet to reach its tendrils into our southern neighbour. I wish they’d hurry up and get a move on, so I could visit their stores while in the States too.
I love this place for affordable basics. Solid/​printed tees, tanks, pants, socks, tights, scarves, shorts… basically, a safer, more classic, «girlier» type of fast fashion (compared to the kind of edgier feel from h&m). I’ve gotten some really versatile stuff here that just isn’t comparable to basics I could get elsewhere.
Plus, who can say no to the huge candy display near the registers? The rainbow of sugar options brightens my mood instantly.
