A much needed performance space with a good piano and flexible seating. Feels really good inside — high vintage wooden ceilings, lots of light. A very eclectic range of musical offerings, and the owner is definitely not in it for the money. A perfect place for adventurous listeners.

One of the great piano and small ensemble performance spaces in Toronto. Great acoustic, great piano. Can be rented for concerts, CD and book launches, rehearsal, recordings, parties and weddings.

Really enjoyed this venue, has a great sound and very warm and comfortable space. Hope to see more artists using this space in the future.

This small non descript art gallery and venue was a perfect space for my friend, Conrad Chow, CD launch party(shameless plug: ) I’ve read that lots of performances happen in the space, and I can see why. There is quite good acoustics with high ceilings and wood beams and a stage area at the back. The room is L shaped, and they have podiums for food and what not in the middle. There’s also a small patio alcove thing at the back. It was hot today, and there was no fan or air conditioner. The only saving grace was dimmed lights and an open window. There was a nice table at the back, for a bar/drinks. However, you’ll need to cater, and/or bring your own for food and drink. I can’t speak for the planning of the event, but I hear the owner was very cool. You’ll have challenges trying to find street parking, as all the streets are lined with residential houses. But if you’re lucky, it’ll be free.

I came here for a wedding reception cocktail party and the venue is beautiful! Currently, they have a photography exhibit on as part of Contact photography festival. The L-shaped space is quite large and perfect for viewing art. It was also perfect for this event, with coat check, space at the back for a grand piano, and a mini patio at the back for fresh air. There is also a curious large collection of old music books in the back corner. It’s just steps from Roncesvalles shops and you can catch the 501 streetcar from Dundas just a few blocks away, but it feels very hidden and quiet. The 345 is a beautiful gallery and event space to check out if you are in the neighbourhood!
