For Your Eyes Only

I travel constantly all over North America and as such have spent considerable time engaging in «gentlemanly» activities, so based on extensive experience I can say, without any doubt whatsoever, that Toronto has some of the absolute worst strip clubs in North America, probably the Western Hemisphere certainly for a city its size. This is somewhat interesting, considering that the escort scene is pretty solidly in the top three and very close to NYC quality for significantly lower (and more reasonable) rates, anyway, I guess that’s for another type of review site ;)
So what about this club, well I give it three stars which is three more than I would give any other establishment of this kind within the Toronto city limits. It’s very «run of the mill» and nothing remarkable, the doormen can be nice, they can be rude, but for the most part are ok and don’t come off as stuck up goofs, which often is the case. On the inside you will pay for everything, but this should not be construed as a complaint, but more as an observation that this place doesn’t deviate from the long established formula for running this kind of a business. The drinks are (probably) watered down, but overall, average for a strip club. The main stage area has big potential, unfortunately the owners don’t seem to understand how cool this place would be if it was only infused with some more energy. In the current set up, chairs and tables are placed in front of the main stage in kind of an arc and you get the feeling of sitting in a comedy club, minus the comedy, but plus a massive «police line» in between you and the entertainment.
The quality of the girls is a disappointment (as it is in all strip clubs in Toronto), which stands in stark contrast to the city in general, Toronto seems to be packed to the rim with drop dead gorgeous women who look like they just stepped off the cover of a magazine, unfortunately it appears to end there with virtually none of the beautiful natives actually working in these establishments, most are not even from Canada or the US, but other countries all together (e.g., Eastern Europe, South America etc., etc.), however, and to quote Mr Trump, it does not appear that those aforementioned geographical locations are «sending their best.» Most of these women are either overweight or rail thin, have bad boob jobs, multiple tattoos, some at this location (and others in Toronto) even have tattoos on their faces and I’m not talking about make up. Wow, to find that in Miami you’d have to go to some place located right next to one of the runways at the airport.
So overall, if you’re in Toronto and you have to go to a strip club, well, then this is really the only «choice,» even worth considering, however, my recommendation (when in Toronto) is to forget about strip clubs and get an escort, from what I understand this is (almost) legal and the girls you will meet are often Canadian, likely from the city and not too far away in the looks department from those magazine covers I mentioned above ;)

Came here on a whim after dinner with some friends.
No cover on a Thursday night before 10pm, awesome!
We were quickly greeted and our drink orders were taken. We could either cash and carry, or leave our credit card at a strip club. We chose the former.
I ordered a double vodka and cranberry and almost had a heart attack when I was told it was $ 22. I begrudgingly paid my server, plus a tip. I paid $ 27 for one drink. It was ridiculous. I also think my friends were overcharged for their beers because the prices on the table stand were less than what we were told. But it’s a strip club, what do you expect?
Onto the girls. None of them were very attractive, which was disappointing for our first time at a strip club. Since we were a mix of guys and girls, not a lot of girls approached us to get… to work? One girl rolled her eyes at us when we declined her services. The girls that were on stage had that soulless stripper look that I’ve heard oh so much about.
All in all, I’m assuming this is a typical run of the mill strip club.

We were turned away at the door, so why I am writing a good review of a place I didn’t visit?
We were a modest sized group of mixed gender, out for a stag party for a lesbian friend who had never been to a strip club. We knew this place was classy and would be great.
However, we were 6 women to 2 men. Their rule is every lady entering must be accompanied by a male.
Kudo’s to the club for having very polite and friendly doormen. They were very apologetic, and very friendly about it. We really appreciated their attitude towards having to turn us away. They could have just said no and why and ignored us, but they took the time to explain why and chatted for a minute with us.
Even through we did not make it in the front door, our first impression was pretty darn awesome.

The best dances Ive ever gotten!!! The girls are insanely gorgeous. I had a great night. Would highly recommend!!!

We went here after the blue jays opener; I didn’t see any ugly girl as much as I searched for one… Kind of sucks if you are a girl going with your loved one…
Good installations, and it’s hard to be partial when your insecurities arise, but sure, it’s classy, and the ambiance was party style.
When I checked the bill, I screamed, because I thought they charged us with dances by mistake, but no, the boost in here is really expensive… 15 for a tiny margarita…

I don’t frequent places like this very often, but this place can be very very expensive. Don’t go here drunk. Keep an eye on the time. Before you know it the tab is $ 450.
Come here if you just want to have a few drinks with the boys and look at naked women that are not your wife or SO. I would avoid the private rooms upstairs — it gets very expensive very quickly. The talent is hit and miss… some times you will realize your wife or SO would be hotter than most of the girls working here if they just wore those 6 inch glass stiletto shoes and knew how to walk around a pole.
Americans find this place quite interesting because it’s full nudity with alcohol being served.
It’s great for bachelor parties — the location in King W provides you lots of other options when you have had enough listening to the girls talking about how they are putting themselves through college.
I find the staff really nice — the door men get my vote for nicest guys in the area.

Came here on a Friday night. It was moderately busy and got seated right away. The main stage is one girl at a time and full nude; separated by the bar so you can’t physically go up and tip them.
The girls were plentiful and bootylicious. Most of them were congregated in corners and not very aggressive. No one really struck me as very attractive other than having nice bodies.
You pay an entrance fee per person to get upstairs and from there it’s all negotiating.

Love the talent at FYEO, BUT and that is HUGE but, grabbing a lapdance is not so cut and dry as it seems. They slap you with a $ 20 cover to enter the «lap dance area». This is bush league and bullshit on all fronts. I dont like hidden fees, not in my cell bill or my stripper. Period.

Ok, ma 1ere review sur un strip club… Comment dire je m’attendais à bien mieux, les filles qui dansent sur seine ont l’air de se déhancher en pensant à leur liste de courses qu’elles vont faire le lendemain.
On sent vraiment que l’ambiance festive est absente.
Fait étrange: quand on vient avec des filles au club, les filles né vont pas venir vous voir pour vous proposer des private dance.
Enfin le prix des consos est bien plus cher que dans un bar normal.
J’espère trouver mieux en terme de strip club à Toronto ^^
/​/​Ok my first strip club review on Unilocal… I expected a better experience.
Girls are shaking their boobies and tushies like they were somewhere else like making their groceries shopping list while dancing.
The festive ambiance is completely unexistent.
Funny fact: the girls will not come to you to sell you private dances if you come with girls at the club.
Then prices of beers is much more expensive than in a regular bar.
I hope to experience a better strip club in Toronto in the future ^^

No matter which rippers I go to, no matter where it is, no matter the girls, the drinks the friends… If I don’t hear a song by an 80s hair metal mega band like Guns’N Roses, White Snake, or Poison, the visit feels unfulfilled, clean and like something is missing.
It’s been a year since my last visit to the peelers and as I’ve mentioned in past, there are specific reasons why that is:
1) You pay for everything short of going to the bathroom
2) A lot of teasing with no end satisfaction (not that I would want THAT kind of satisfaction… OK maybe after a couple of drinks)
3) Expensive
However, that all said, sometimes we guys just need to have a couple of drinks while a gorgeous naked girl tells us how awesome we are as she siphons money from our wallets like its gasoline during a zombie apocalypse (Didn’t I have ¾ of a tank left ???) We’re guys, let’s face it, the experience is great for our egos, bad for self esteem and unless you’ve got game like Michael Jordan, there isn’t a farts chance in a windstorm that you’re gonna get lucky.
Good points about FYEO:
— bartenders are super friendly and hilarious. They chatted us up (occasionally pointing out who the ‘really dumb” strippers were) and telling us all the juicy behind the scenes gossip (like who was dancing prego… *gags*)
— No cover charge to enter (at least not at 5pm… he he he)
— Drink prices were NOT over the top
— The neked girls were purdy!
Needs Improvement for FYEO:
— No stage access (the bar sits between you and the stage) therefore no $ 5 stage dives boys
— $ 20 charge to access the VIP lounge, so you can then pay for your dances
— $ 20 song (normal) BUT you need to exchange the money for tokens which you THEN hand over to your lady of choice (seems like a lot of extra steps).
This trip wasn’t a total bust, but the key elements I look for in my annual trip to the rip were lacking so I give this place an A-​OK 3 star and say I’ll see you next year ladies.

Also the menu has items with dodgy names like «Nasty Nachoes» and «Choke a Chicken» wtf??? With names like that, I suggest it’s best to skip the «appetizers» and go straight for the lapdance (s) instead.

Oh FYI, what would I do without you? I was going to give this place only three stars, but then realized that if three guys can dump over a G-​Note in this place in one night, it must be a pretty good spot, no?
Sure, it’s got naked women and $ 10 drinks, but at least it’s done with a bit of class. The girls don’t just walk up to you with a blank stare asking «You VANT DANCE!!!» in an Eastern Euro accent. They earn their dances. It’s really a nice mix between a place like The Brass Rail (where you’re being harassed for dances) and Whiskey A-​Go-​Go (where it’s more like a show — picture Fight Club). You can go there and watch or you can go there and get rubbed on – the choice is yours!
The best thing about this place is the location. It’s in a fantastic spot for last call at a bachelor party/​birthday. Oh yeah, ask for the «last half hour» special. BLING!

Wow, no other guys have taken the time to review one of Toronto’s finest clubs? Maybe that goes to show that For your Eyes Only isn’t the #1 choice for men in the city. But when pushes comes to shove, guys will go because they have something that we want — Naked Woman! And we will pay the $ 10 cover charge, $ 5 coat fee (mandatory), and don’t forget to tip your lovely host/​bouncer that walks you less than 20 feet and demands a tip (he is probably bigger than you, so you might as well tip him!). That’s $ 20 to get to your seat. Unless your looking to join the upstairs lounge for an extra $ 20. And guess what you get for an extra $ 20? You get to look like a «big shot». Order up your Crystal while its still in stock!
Beers and drinks are expensive $ 6 – 8 plus tip. Shooter girls are annoying, and lets not forget the Girls! Girls! Girls!
Listen, they are pretty decent, some are hotter than others. Some are more natural than others. But I can tell you one thing — Demi Moore isn’t going to pop out on stage at anytime, or any other fantasy girl you may have. The girls are pretty good. And yes you might fall in love with one of them, but its probably the $ 10 Orgasm you just poured down your throat from the Shooter Girl thats giving you that love and feeling!

I’m not exactly a strip bar expert, but I’ve been to enough of them that I know a good one when I see it. For Your Eyes has the best dancers (and by best I mean good looking and relatively sober at work), the shooters girls are really fun, and not trashy at all and it’s the only place in the city where you can go with a big, mixed group and still have a blast. It’s not cheap though, not by any means, but strippers are not exactly an area I would cut corners in.

Yay! All my dreams have come true. I’m finally getting to live out my life long ambition of reviewing a strip club.
For Your Eyes Only is located on the corner of King Street West and Portland and I swear, you could pass it and not even know what it is. Unlike most exotic dancing locations in Toronto, this place doesn’t plaster up posters of half dressed girls all over their doors and windows. In fact the front of the place is pretty much entirely black. Who would have thought… a strip club that understands subtly?
Anyway the place inside is your average, run of the mill rippers. Girls dance topless on stage, guys get lap dances upstairs and you can sit and enjoy a nice glass of pinot and a chat about federal politics in the ‘lounge’. That is, when you aren’t being harassed by your waitress to buy some unidentifiable concoction in a test tube. Or when the servers aren’t screaming at each other about which chair belongs to which table and who gets to serve you and your «party». Or when all the cracked-​out dancers are standing around looking for some guy to grind up against so they can allegedly «pay their way through college.»
For Your Eyes Only is pretty on par with the other strip clubs in the city, and it’s in a pretty decent area, which is more than I can say for most of them. You will get harassed to buy drinks, you’ll pay a lot for them too and you won’t stop being forced to part with your money until you walk out the door. But if you want to see some live nude girls, this is as good a place as any.
