The couple that work there are very rude and dismissive, especially the old man. I wanted to send a package but needed to get an idea of what it would cost. He kept yelling at me for weight after I told him I wanted to know if they have a box that would fit the item I wanted to send seeing as it would be factored into the weight. He got impatient with me and yelled at me to go find my own box. Horrible customer service and would not recommend them if you have to have a face to face interaction with them.

I’m always happier when my mail is redirected to this CanadaPost location rather than others in the area. This shop is quiet and very near home and I can tell my packages are handled with care. As you can tell from other reviews, it’s a very mom and pop shop set up, and I would add that the shop is not very well maintained(unattractive displays, tight aisles, loose dingy cards) so it’s unlikely that I’ll go there for anything but mail and such. But I RECOMMEND– over the FedEx and UPS alternatives nearby for obvious reasons(the cost to send mail is more affordable and the shop owners are happy to suggest the cheap options) EXTRATIP– there’s a photocopy/fax machine too. I know. Who faxes anymore? I DO. Bout that student life, woot woot.

Totally agree Dale! The couple that works are a little aloof– but very efficient and professional when it comes to postal packages big and small. Plus, they usually recommend the most cost efficient method to send a parcel. I only go there!

Geting your mail here is like going to a Kng St. bar: Don’t bother showing up without ID. The couple that owns and runs this place takes a bit of getting used to. They’re nice enough, I guess. I’m an avid eBayer, and make a pickup here at least once a week. They still check my ID every time, which is not my idea of friendly service. Still, they can always be sure I’m not picking up somebody else’s package, and I guess I can have some confidence that they’re not giving mine to the wrong person. I’m almost always in and out in under five minutes, and if I timeit right(630ish) I can get my parcel in under sixty seconds.
