Envy Eyewear

Will not be returning for my next glasses. The owner was not interested in my needs. Did not listen to my concerns and did not care whether I was happy with my glasses. Very nice glass fitter there on a part time basis but the owner is detached and non responsive. Finally I was not happy with the eye exam which seemed primarily to function to get you to update your glasses. I am very sorry I did not read these reviews before dealing with them.

This store has changed it face quite a few times in the last couple of years on Queen Street East– still, it is AWFUL!!! I cannot express enough how poorly I have been treated every time I enter the store, every time I call, anytime I have done anything to do with the store in the past 10 years. Today, I called to ask about a pair of frames on display. The man was extremely hesitant to help with me anything until I confirmed I was going to purchase from them. I am a commission sales person by profession and I would NEVER treat ANYBODY with this kind of disrespect and only help people if they were going to purchase something. Not to mention they are x2, x3 the price of my optometrist and numerous other eye stores. I do not recommend purchasing or working with this company. I’m sure they’ll go out of buisness shortly.

This store carries a good selection of frames. But there were so many things wrong with my first order (wrong prescription, wrong tint, and who asked for polarizing?) that after two weeks of getting things fixed I decided against going back.
