Just arrived in Toronto and wanted a bite to eat. This was close to my hotel so I went in for a sandwich. There was an older man and woman working. I asked the man if I could get a roast beef sandwich and he made a noise and noise and walked away. I then asked the lady for the same and she said OK. She had to go in the back to prepare it as they had already packed up for the day I guess(it was about 3:30PM on a Tuesday). Right after I ordered, the man got very upset and started yelling at a lady who had sat down to drink her coffee(that she bought elsewhere) at one of his tables. He was yelling that they were closed. She yelled back saying they obviously weren’t closed as they were making food for me. It was awkward and unprofessional. As they were making the sandwich, my mm asked the man if there was soup and he looked around for a minute then walked away and didn’t give an answer. So she asked the lady working, and she served her the soup. The sandwich was just as I expected, roast beef on a bun, but the customer service was awful. My mom sent the soup back because it was ice cold. The lady heated it up for 15 seconds in the microwave and gave it back. It was still cold. Avoid this place.
