Visited the store June 29th at 08:48. The associate was very nice, offered my husband and I some iced tea as soon as we got in. The tea was refreshing. Purchased some Matcha tea and agave. The guy showed us the selection of matcha tea, made sure we knew the quality of what we were getting. He was very friendly and well-informed. It was topnotch service. He also told us about their points system and got signed up. I like the layout of this store. It’s clean and very minimal, which makes it so pleasant.

Typical David’s tea. Good layout, good teas, good staff. I’ve been to oodles of David’s Tea’s all over the city & I have never had a problem with an location. I will say I was debating between 4 stars or 5 but I picked 5 realizing that I’ve never had a bad experience at David’s Tea. I will say switching from a highly caffeinated life to no caffeine at all has made me not as much as a regular anymore. I was for YEARS though. They have a good selection of tea’s. I will say that I have noticed the caffeine ones taste a hell of a lot better.

Walked in on a wim(had time to kill) and have to say I have never walked into a Davids Tea and come out empty handed. They have the best variety of crazy tea combinations I’ve ever had the pleasure of choosing from. Got a canister of green tea because I am after all a creature of habit and grabbed some sweet apple cider to get me in the fall mood.

Still going to Davids Tea faithfully. Now that I have the tins & found most of my favourites I visit mostly to stock up. This location is still a great spot. Customer service is still good. If I had to nitpick I wish they had their agave in more flavours. I’m hunting the elusive maple syrup flavoured agave but can’t find it in their stores. May have to order it online!

Having just moved here from England I had absolutely no idea what Davids tea was but of course, being English i love tea! how typical. As soon as i walked into the store i was greeted by a friendly staff member with a free sample of tea which was amazing as i was freezing! It was delicious. I took a while browsing the products in the cups etc section and was left alone until someone asked me if i needed any help which i enjoyed as i didn’t feel pressured to buy anything! In the end I walked out with varies teas and mugs– a very happy customer! I love the atmosphere and décor its simple yet eye catching and smelling all the teas is amazing.

I am an out and out coffee drinker but I will gladly cross Yonge street at 5 am when the crazies are speeding to have David’s Tea instead. Too bad they don’t operate that early. Or very late either. Their business hours kind of suck if you need a tea fix in the wee dawn hours like I do. But I will give them the extra point for being courteous even at peak hours

Sometimes you can be coffee’ed out and you want an alternative to water so tea it is. My go-to David’s Tea as it’s close to work and home. Décor is simple and minimalistic, but there is a seating area here. Whenever I come here, I’m always impressed by the team who work here. Service is great; the people who work here know a lot about their product. I just have to describe what I’m jonesing and the team suggests a few teas. Just one suggestion, having food might add to the experience here.

Being a true asian, most of us have tea coursing thru our blood. Don’t hate, that’s just how much tea we like to drink. altho in my situation i’ve probably got a mix of tea and coffee coursing thru my veins. Basically, tea is nothing new, nothing exciting, everyday stuff. until you come to David’s Tea! Well this place(other locations are probably just as nice but I come to this one) has the whole wall filled with tea displayed from floor to ceiling. All categorized by type, ingredient, caffeine, or herbal. The staff here are super friendly, so when it comes to pick a right tea for you, this is the place to be! You can go hardcore bland caffeine loaded black tea, to strawberry/pomegranate/raspberry/melon mix fruit tea, name it they got it. and more. Get 100G you will get a free tea tin, makes great gifts too! Load up on those antioxidants and you will feel like you’re ready for anything! This is where even life throws you lemons, you just squeeze that S&#% in your tea! :) awesomeness!

VIBE You’re immediately hit by the stark whiteness of the place. Staff are über friendly and give you a tea«shot» of new flavours. They also know their product very well and eager to suggest options catered to your tastes. A note that before I paid I went to the bathroom and was looking for my wallet not to be found. I think I left it at work or it got stolen elsewhere. The tea barista(or whatever you call them these days) was SO nice and with a smile gave me my drink for free. It’s kindness like that that will make me return. I DRANK The Bear Trap. Great berry fruity taste. I got my sweetened and it was the perfect taste! OBLIGATORYCATCHYREMARK These are the Daves I know I know. If you don’t know what I’m talking about:

Walked in to grab some tea with my husband. He was ordering and I was holding my toy poodle puppy in my arms — the guy behind the counter Unilocaled, «SORRYNOPETSALLOWED… WE don’t have our sign up but NOPETSALLOWED — SORRY». Loud enough for the whole store to hear. So I politetly stepped out while my husband finished ordering — but you can bet I will NEVER step foot inside again, with or without a puppy! Put up your damn NOPETSALLOWED sign then instead of shouting at me about it!

Love This place. i have tried so many teas that there isn’t that much room here to list. My latest favourite is the Organic Grand Cru Matcha. Expensive? YES! Amazing? Most definitely worth the $. The beauty of this tea is that you drink it all, not just steep it. So you get all the potent antioxidants. Of course the Forever Nuts is still my go to as it was my first ever David’s Tea experience, and I was was hooked from that day on. Ok, since there is still room I will give my top 10 :) 1. Organic Grand Cru Matcha 2. Forever Nuts 3. Cherry Potion 4. Toasted Walnut 5. Quangzhou Milk Oolong 6. The Skinny 7. The Glow 8. Mulberry Magic 9. Blood Orange Pu’erh 10. Crème de Menthe

I’ve lived in the yonge and eglinton area for pretty much my entire life, yet I’ve never really hung out in the hood since there’s not a lot for me there. David’s Tea has changed that! I love this place, I love their tea, I love their staff! Everyone who works there is super nice and really interesting — I’ve met a naturopatic student, an engineer, a girl who specializes in prosthetic limbs. They have soya milk and agave and make a mean tea or latte. Great selection of teas, delicious combinations such as Forever Nuts(spiced nut tea), Glitter and Gold(a sweet black tea with glitter) and Chickory Dickory Dock(a chickory, vanilla, almond blend). They’re open till a decent time(9pm M-W, 10pm Thurs-Sun) and always have great music. There are only two tables, so it’s sadly not always somewhere you can sit and have tea with a friend — this, and the lack of outdoor seating in the summer, is the only reason they got 4 instead of 5 stars. That being said, though, I’ve only not been able to get a seat about 3 times out of the many that I’ve gone. I’ve sat and studied for hours — love it!

They have an excellent tea selection. I got different teas — Lime Gelato(green tea) that tastes amazing either hot and cold(very creamy and fresh), Citron Oolong(this tea is also amazing, smells like sweet lemon and tastes heavenly) and Blazing Strawberries(also green tea, unfortunately not my favorite as it doesnt taste much like either strawberries or green tea)… But they do have amazing store with amazing flavours and friendly employees working there.

My love for David’s Tea has grown! I love so many of their teas, especially their iced-teas this summer; truly a healthy, refreshing and hydrating treat. Any tea that they have, you can get them either hot or iced. My personal favourites this summer is blazing strawberries from their summer collection, goji pop is incredible iced and shanti ayurvedic caffeine free tea is a must before I go to sleep as it really calms you and allows shut-eye fast. I’ve become so addicted to this place that my kitchen cupboard is starting to resemble a mini David’s Tea store. The staff continues to be very friendly, helpful and has introduced me to so many tasty and very healthy teas. I had a problem with people sniffing out of the tea canisters since the same tea people were breathing over was steeped for everyone else; I found that gross. Now, the canisters have a section where they open the lid and there is a small tray of tea that is for smelling purposes only. The tea that is steeped for us is stored in the other half of the canister. I find this more sanitary. Also, their summer promotion is awesome– buy their double wall BPA-free plastic snap lid tumbler for iced-tea($ 9.50) and receive a free iced-tea upon purchase, and if you bring this tumbler into David’s Tea you get the iced-tea of the day refills all summer for only $ 1!

I agree with Anita. I feel like I died and went to tea heaven. I walked in and instantly felt calmer knowing I was in my own environment. It wasn’t the face slapping smell of coffee in the air, it was the soothing scent of tea. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I sampled the swampwater iced tea and instantly fell in love. I bought some with guava added to it. I instantly wanted to bathe in it. It was so delicious! I didn’t get to spend too much time in there but the next time I go, I plan on taking full advantage of the many jars of tea in their wonderful establishment.
