I just got my reading glasses back and have now submitted for my prescription sunglasses. My glasses are much better than when I’d had them done years ago at Specs and Specs. A big improvement!
This place is great, very personable staff, I didn’t have to wait long, they are very knowledgeable, friendly, and I even got a discount! I would recommend this place to anyone, and I went here based on the reviews and was not disappointed.

Friendly staffs and fast service. I brought in my sunglasses that had to be fixed and they fixed it for me right their and didn’t even charge me a penny. It only took him 2 minutes and even adjusted the tightness for me. I’m buying my next pair of sunglasses from them, for sure.

I went here when they offered a groupon and was pleased with my service.
Their shop and selection of glasses isn’t the largest, but they do carry the main brands as well as some discount frames for the those with a tight budget. They’re also able and willing to order in a pair of frames you may want that they don’t have in stock.
The staff are very friendly and work hard to get you what you need in a timely fashion. I had my eye exam and my glasses done through them and got exactly what I wanted.
The reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is because their prices aren’t the best in the city. They aren’t the worst either, I’d put them about average. Also, because their selection isn’t as big I had to look at frames at another shop to find the ones I liked and then have Crown order them in. If it wasn’t for the groupon I probably would have just gotten my glasses where I found the frames I liked.
If you know the frames you want, or they have ones you like, this is a great place to go for glasses! If you’re picky about frames and hoping for a large selection to chose from I’d try OpticZone on Jarvis.

Crown Opticians isn’t very big, but I’ve never had anyone be this nice when I’m not a paying customer (and never have been). In their limited space, they have a decent selection of generic and designer frames and sunglasses. One of my glasses’ nose pads had fallen out. The gentleman took my glasses to the back room/​workshop where he spent the next five minutes replacing both pads.
The prices on the frames I tried on while my glasses were being worked on were as expected. Designer frames in the $ 200 range, generics being cheaper and varying widely. The selection varied widely, so it’s worth a shot checking out the place, especially since they’re open 6 days a week and located on Yonge and Bloor.
With my glasses fixed, the gentleman finally came out and declined to accept any compensation!
«It’s a small thing», he said.
