This summer they updated their patio with brand new furnishing and i’m very happy with them. The new chairs are comfortable and the tables have been replaced with smaller plastic ones which are pretty nice; you can seat two or three people to them comfortably, just don’t try to load them up with multiple laptops. The coffee is still great and the staff are still very friendly.

I haven’t had too many different drinks at Crema, but I can say this; their latté is silky and flavourful– my favorite coffee outside of the core! Beyond that, service has always been excellent and their hours extend till 9pm in the summer, which is awesome. Keep doing what you do, guys!

I like the coffee pretty much every time, and the Junction location is nice. Snacks are acceptable, not factory junk.

Delicious latte and a very energetic spot for a morning break. I really like their sea salt brownies, probably my favorites, they are will good the next day. Great croissants as well, just about every pastry I’ve tried here has not disappoint!

If you love good coffee, you should love this place. The coffee is roasted locally in Toronto by Propeller and is usually very good. They also sell 1LB bags of Propeller beans there as well as a small selection of coffee making equipment(all you need is an Aeropress, IMHO). The baristas are always friendly and welcoming. Their baked goods are really good too. They have great croissants, scones and squares and usually a few healthier options too. Don’t be fooled by the gluten free brownies – they are amazing. They have a nice patio on the side as well. There are a number of outlets and wireless charging pads(for you iPhone users and Androids without wireless charging built in, you can request a dongle). Of course they have free high-speed WiFi too. if you want to stay for lunch they have a nice selection of paninis, and also offer some breakfast options too. There is no need to go to Starbucks, which is right next door. Support a better, local Canadian business!

My favorite cup of coffee in TO. Seriously, their coffee is like the stuff of legends! Always consistent quality and super smooth. Staff are fast and friendly, interior is super well set-up, and the price is just right. :3

I like that this place is open until 8pm. Some people do indeed drink coffee after 5pm so it’s great to find a place to hunker down for a coffee until 8. The barista here really takes care in how the lattes are crafted — perfect microfoam with no bubbles!!!

Love the smooth lattes here and they’re always the right temperature. I don’t come here often as it’s out of the way, but it’s definitely a must stop if you’re in the area.

Dear Unilocalers: you have never been more accurate about a place. I was so surprised to see how packed Crema was on a Sunday, mostly with strollers and young children. Luckily, I enjoy the company of children far more than that of adults, so that was a win for me. I ordered a soy latte at the counter and put my things down at a nearby seat, and my order came out incredibly fast! The latte gave me mixed emotions: sadness because of all the money and time I’d spent in the past on other chain coffee shops’ *ahem* soy lattes, and happiness because, well, it was a damn good latte. Naturally sweet, velvety, warm, and slightly but perfectly smoked. Paired with a double chocolate chip muffin from Bunner’s across the street, this latte made an incredible mid-day delight(although the latte would do absolutely perfect on its own two… err…ceramic bottom). Will definitely return for more lattes and specialty drinks and continue to laugh at bland«espresso drinks» from the chain crap across the street. Only downside to Crema is the loud music, but otherwise, it would be a solid five star must try place.

Crema has one of the few Clover machines Clover designed by MIT professor and students. Designed to make the perfect coffee. The machines were very limited production then Starbucks bought the company. Ask for latte or expresso on the clover

The coffee is good — and it’s a better spot to stop than the big chain right across the street. Not only that, but you’ve also got the pitcher of cold water at the back — which always makes for a good time on a warm summer’s day.

A great community coffee house that survives despite being next door to the Big Green Giant. They have some great gluten free options and the usual subduction a available for coffee and hot chocolate(dairy, soy, etc) lots of indoor seating, though it can be rather cozy and noisy in its busy times. It also has a nice little outdoor patio.

I occasionally bring my laptop here but go mainly for the coffee. I’m a big fan of their americano and american misto. They use to serve 49th Parallel beans but currently serve Propellor beans. I’m not a fan of sweet beans(e.g. Stumptown) so I like Crema’s choice in beans and roasters. You can also buy Aeropress coffee makers here, along with pour over coffee makers and fresh beans.

Love the ambiance and environment. Very clean, simple and relaxing. The coffee is pretty yum too. Granted we had iced lattes, but they were creamy and had a balanced ratio of the espresso to milk. Didn’t even need to add sugar, though simple syrup is available. Would definitely return and taste the sweets, especially the doughnuts and smore cupcakes.

Great vanilla roiboos latte. They had super friendly staff and great selection of pastries(ie Glory Hole donuts, circles and squares scones). Nice stroll here and life will be better. Will come back and take advantage of the patio.

Love the lattes and butter croissants. Come here on a regular basis to start the day on the weekend. Lots of great treats, both regular and gluten free. My gf especially likes the London fog latte — highly recommend this place!

Love Crema. It is a fairly pleasant place to sit — a bit cramped when it is full which seems to be most of the time. The coffee is delicious and the muffins are fantastic. I am not a fan of muffins usually but these ones are delicious — I think they might be Circles and Squares. Except the gluten free orange and olive ones — they look nice but taste like bitter sand. The people who work here all seem super-nice.

Order the«The Matt Taylor» drink. It’s awesome. That is all. Seriously though, it’s a really good drink. Served in a cute tiny glass teacup graced by a delicate double wired handle… It’s the most flavored shot of espresso concoction you’ll ever have — in a good way. Honey at the bottom, sprinkled with black pepper, add an espresso shot, and finish with lovely steamed/foam milk/whatever. I’m no coffee expert, but this was damn good.

A very solid 4.5 stars for me here! I finally managed to find time to visit Crema! It was one of few passport stops I’d heard of before my journey to collect the 24 stamps in the passport and one I was afraid I might miss out on because I am NEVER around that area. And my experience at the other Crema downtown had it’s ups and downs, so I did not know what to expect. I walked in and saw 3 couples with strollers/baby seats! That was definitely a first for me at a coffee spot, I was surprised to see that they even had those tall baby seats. Is that normal for coffee shops? It had a very nice clean polished look and feel about it, not the most charming of spots but I really liked the staff members here who chatted about the passport program, the junction and drinks and they were very friendly. Definitely the reason that I’m putting this in the 5 star category. I really enjoyed my latte too definitely one of the better ones I’ve tried of late, and got myself a fig and pistachio cookie!(One of the best things about the coffee passport is also the fact that some of these places have great cookies!) Judging from the cookie, I would be very curious to try out some of their other food items which did seem a little on the pricey side, but something tells me it might be worth it. They change the wifi password here very often they tell me so don’t be surprised if on your repeat visits the old password fails on you. I just wish they weren’t so far away from everything to do with my life.

Crema Coffee Co. is one of the cafes that participate in the Indie Passport. The deco is white and simple with tables packed closely together since Crema Coffee can be quite crowded with customers parked themselves using their Free Wifi enjoying their beverages. The deco is not too homey or rustic. just clean and maybe too clean for my taste. IKEA style clean! The staffs here are really nice and cheerful… with smiley faces… and the bubbly cashier kept talking to my friend admiring his Indie Passport while people(me and some more) lining up waiting to be served. The Cappuccino is A-OK always love those latte art since I cannot do it myself: P The Oolong tea was in loose leaf tea form served in a French press, no yucky tea bag! AAA-OK! Why bother going to Starbucks across the street when you can go to Crema!
