This clinic offers chiropractic services, acupuncture, massage therapy, and personal training. I started seeing Dr. Chris probably too late when I was training for the Mississauga marathon in 2013. When I saw him, I could not walk without a limp and I had a week to go until the big race. I saw him twice that week and after those two sessions, I was able to hop on the problem leg. Unfortunately during race time, I was only able to run 21 km but still had 21 km left so I walked it to avoid further injury but I think that is still pretty good given that I could not run more than 10 km the week prior. Luckily, I did not have any races scheduled until five months after so there was time to focus on getting me back to where I was before. Coming back from injury, my races to close out 2013 were just a bit slower than my personal bests(PBs) but left me optimistic. Through the sessions that followed and a running training program, I set some personal best times in the 10k and half marathon distances. I also set a great time in the 5k distance in 2015. With the closure of the North York Running Room, CORE has«inherited» most of the great coaches from that location and have started their own run clinics that are based out of the practice. Route maps are provided and there is a free community run on Saturday mornings. They also have Halloween and Christmas-themed runs that are free to the community and refreshments are provided upon completion. Sadly, I have moved to a different neighbourhood but I have not switched to a different chiropractor and make the trip to see Dr. Chris whenever I have an area needing to be addressed or just a standard tune-up to help keep me injury-free.
