I bought several books today at this bright, clean, well organized store. Great selection of books — mostly paperback but quite a few hardcovers. I love vintage(1920’s books) and had a great time browsing. I asked the very nice, friendly attendant if they had any books by the specific author I was looking for. She was very knowledgeable and went down to the basement and brought two large stacks of books by my favourite mystery writer, Patricia Wentworth. I was in heaven! The prices are very reasonable too. I live in the west end, but I will definitely make the trip to this store again! Highly recommended! By the way, there was no musty book smell as per a previous post. And yes, the clerk did take down my information and promised to alert me if future titles on my want list came in. A great treasure on Kingston Road!

A quaint little book shop, nicely decorated, with that nostalgic musty book smell. The owner is quite approachable and smiles a lot. The store works on donations for store credit. Prices are very reasonable with a good selection. The store will not order books for you but, if you ask for a certain volume and it gets donated, they will call to let you know they’ve received a copy.
