honestly i always dread going to this place for bubble tea BUTITSTHEFASTESTANDCHEAPESTOPTION i tried two of their other drinks like honey lemon tea(disgusting not sweet at all) and the honey citron green tea(i wasn’t expecting any lemon skins to be in the drink… straight up felt like i was eating orange peels –____-) only their milk black tea extra sweetened is fairly drinkable . other than their drinks, I REALLYREALLYHATETHEGIRL’S ATTITUDE like jeezus i feel like she’s always glaring at me(idk mate she just looks pissed and whatever all the time). the mother ?! is WAY better like damn. she seems more patient and likeable.

Probably the most depressing tea shop in all of the GTA. Would echo the comment about the service but…*shrug*. It’s… efficient! The $ 1.99 special is now $ 2.50 and you’re basically getting a $ 2.50 bubble tea — it’s not really good. But bubble tea cravings, you know? If time/distance wasn’t a factor for me I’d hike over to Yonge & Dundas to get the bubble tea special. Or get one of the fancier $ 5+ teas at one of other bbt shops near that area. But sometimes, the fact this shop is here by the Grange, and there’s no long line is appealing too. There’s never, ever a line. I guess this should say something in a food court where there’s a lot of people that look like they’re in the bubble tea demographic. :P And yes: the tapioca is soft most of the time, but one time they got it «just right» and it was amazing!

I can’t believe this just happened. We literally walked up to the cash and the woman was sitting in the chair facing us, on her cellphone. She stood there continuing to talk while we were staring at her waiting to order. She didn’t even get up. When she finally arouse… she continued to talk for a total of about 3 minutes before helping us. The strawberry bubble tea i got was WAY over sweetened, but not that bad. But nothing special, if ur here and u need bubble tea u might as well. But don’t go out of ur way.

Wasn’t expecting a high quality bubble tea considering a standard sized milk tea w/tapioca only costed $ 2.00. Surprisingly, it tasted better than expected. The«regular» sized portion was just enough to quench my craving and they didn’t overload the cup with ice(like many cheap stores do). My only concern was that the tapioca was a bit soft. Though many can say it’s a personal preference, I feel like the tapioca had been boiled for a little too long. Regardless, it was an acceptable drink for its price and I would gladly get it again.

Not the best milk tea bubbletea in the world. You get what you pay for and it fills the void(I have yet to find a good milk tea here in Toronto though). It’s $ 1.99 for a regular and 2.99 for a large, which is a pretty good deal. The sandwich board up front and the posters say it’s «Today’s Special», but really, it just happens every day. The one problem I had was that the last time I went, the milk tea tasted absolutely disgusting. I couldn’t even pinpoint the problem; it was undrinkable. Hesitant to go there again just in case they changed the recipe. Anyways, give it a try, it won’t hurt your wallet. Ask for the reward card at the counter.

Just as good as Chatime, except the prices are a lot cheaper. The same drink cost 2 times less. It also has X-large size which Chatime don’t have. X-large size cost cheaper than the Large in Chatime. Their points card is 8 drinks vs 10 in Chatime. So you only need to buy 8 to get one drink for free vs Chatime where you need to buy 10 to get one free. The cheapest drink in Chatime is 4.5 and in CL Tea is $ 1.99 which is more than 2 times cheaper. The line up is crazy in Chatime, and there is no line up at CL Tea House. Their location is not too far from the core as well, where the Chatime is. So I would totally pick CL Tea House over other bubble tea places in the area because of their better prices and much faster service and a good quality.

First time Unilocaling as this place deserves it. Located inside the centre of the Village by the Grange food court, this little gem is one of the best places to get bubble tea in the downtown core. Located a few minutes west of Chatime, it’s $ 1.99 for the special of the day pearl milk tea and is just as tasty as the same at Chatime for $ 4.20. They also have a reward program, 8 drinks for a free drink vs the 10 needed at Chatime. Nice lady served me and my girlfriend today on Sunday which was open till 7pm which was great as not many places open.
