City Spy

Please read my previous review first. This is a response to the owner’s response to my original Unilocal review.
I’d like to thank Aydin B. (the owner) for accusing me of writing «total lies» about his business. I’m sorry, but just because someone does not have anything positive to say about your business does not make them a liar. If Aydin’s biggest issue with my review was the fact that nobody named Natalia works at the store, then I am sorry. Natalia is the name that I was provided with when I spoke to a woman on the phone before coming in to exchange my father’s purchases. Perhaps I somehow misheard her name as Natalia.
However, me getting the woman’s name wrong doesn’t invalidate my review. Though Aydin might believe that he provides great customer service, isn’t that up to the customer to decide? Yes, he spent time trying to figure out how to use the pen and glasses (both made in China, with instruction manuals written in broken English), which I appreciated, but standing in the store waiting for Aydin to figure out how to operate the pen camera while he had a casual ten minute conversation in Russian with a lady who walked in from the street was not acceptable, nor was being told to walk across Mount Pleasant to use the Starbucks bathroom.
And in response to his accusing me of «insulting» his Russian Jewish heritage (i.e., stating in my review that they have Russian accents) and his «serious equipment»: 1. my family comes from a Russian Jewish background, and 2. the exact same pen, glasses and dash cam/​rear view mirror sold by this store can be found on eBay for a fraction of the price with free shipping from Hong Kong.
I stand by my original review.

I am returning to work after my maternity leave and I was shopping around for «nanny camera». I found two stores in Toronto. «Spy –tech» and «cityspy». Spy-​tech looked a bit dated to me, so I went to CitySpy and was very happy about it. Store is spacious and modern. Owner was very helpful and after listening to my needs suggested few «alarm clocks hidden cameras.» I bought a «mirror clock hidden camera» as a nanny camera. The design is very nice .I am happy with my purchase. It’s easy to operate with remote control, HD quality picture, night vision, motion detector … It’s everything I need to keep an eye on my precious daughter. Thank you. I can definitely recommend it. Thumbs up !
