Ordered 2 cubic yards of soil from them. They delivered it to the wrong house(53 instead of 35). Fine, honest mistake but then they told me that they couldn’t come and pick it up because they had«no way» of doing it, so that either I could move it myself and they would give me $ 50 back or that my neighbor would have«free soil». Since I’m pretty sure my elderly neighbor with a concrete yard doesn’t want 2 cubic yards of soil on their front walk, I spent the entire morning hauling soil up and down the street in a wheelbarrow. Then when I went to get my whopping $ 50 back the guy(the owner) acted like he was doing me a huge favour and kept muttering under his breath. Will NEVER give these miserable people another dime.

So convenient if you are in west end city of Toronto and more friendly than a big box garden centre could ever be. Family run, good prices, shop local. They bag their own home made best 4 way soil mix. Bulk mulch, firewood, Christmas trees, vegetable starts in spring and small interesting nursery of container grown shrubs and trees is worth a look in back. Shop Local, support your neighbors!

This is a great place to load up on plants in the spring. They have a huge selection of all your favouite veggies and none of them look like they’re about to drop dead as soon as you leave. I don’t really buy flowers, because I’m mostly interested in things I can eat, but they seemed to have a good selection of those as well. They have a modest selection of garden supplies, but I don’t think that’s really their thing. I asked if they sold any trellises to grow my veggies on and he told me «Let them grow over the ground». I said«Yeah, but if I grow them up then I’ll have more ground space.» Then he looked at me a little annoyed and repeated himself. So, not the best customer service I’ve seen, but whatever just give me the plants.
