Dr. Wat is a good dentist, but her front desk staff are rude and mildly incompetent. I have standard insurance through sunlife and every time payment seems to be a huge issue. They would frequently submit the claims incorrectly to the insurance company and then hassle me about it.(Insurance would mail me the forms when they weren’t filled out correctly and then I would have to fax them to the dentist for them to fix.) Other times they would say it didn’t go through electronically so they would tell me what I owed later, only to hear nothing from them for months and then get a nasty letter in the mail saying I owed them $$S immediately. Payment just always seemed like a big back and forth process.(so much simpler with my new dentist!) Last straw for me was, after being a patient for almost 5 years, I show up 10min late once and was treated extremely rudely and told I would only get half a cleaning. They made no offer to reschedule the rest of the cleaning and I never went back.
