I have been to this drop in centre twice with my little guy who just recently turned 14 months. It is a really great space you can bring your kids when they need time to interact with other kiddies but you are unable to make it to your baby classes because of schedule conflicts. There are a fair amount of toys for kids — including a mini slide that drops into a mini ball pit. A larger slide with a larger ball pit. A little play house. Big soft stacking blocks for kids to build forts. A little corner for kids to play mommy/daddy and take care of babies in cribs. The toys are not the newest … There are also a lot choking hazards so unless your kiddy is old enough to know that they are not allowed to put things in their mouth, you need to be pretty vigilent. Another thing is, there can be rougher, bossier, and older kids who may bully your child if you are not monitoring them so that is another thing to watch out for. The moms who truly can get a break from bringing their kids here seem to be the ones with kids older than the age of 3. I think the coffee is complimentary but I’ve never been offered it so I am not 100% sure. The policy is shoes off and no bare feet but I have seen adults and kids with bare feet in the play area. The price is insanely cheap — $ 6 for unlimited play. There is also a baby sitting service for $ 11/hour but I’d only suggest it if your baby can communicate his/her needs and can also fend himself/herself from potential bullies. The policy is babies need to be 18+ months is eligible for the baby sitting service.
