Beauty Now Supply + Salon

I ended up trying it out after positive Unilocal reviews outnumbered my own experience and I was pleasantly surprised.
Having had a baby recently, my hair appointment was long overdue. I was at the point of buying boxed colour but decided to walk into Beauty Now (around the corner of my house) and see if they‘d be willing to see me in their slow time of the day PLUS baby. Luckily, they were very open and welcoming to my little boy and I made an appointment (cut, colour, eyebrows).
The day of my appointment, my usually grumpy 4 month old woke up deciding today would the day of total chaos and lo and behold: I was in my seat less than 10 minutes when he started fussing. Instead of being annoyed, the mother of owner picked up my bundle of joy and got him to sleep in his stroller within 10 minutes. My stylist never rushed to get me out and they were patient (while babysitting!) and made the experience painless. I walked out loving my highlights, my cut and the service. I will definitely be back

I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received from Christina. She easily saw what I couldn’t put into words about what was wrong with my previous cut and why it was so difficult to deal with. Not only did she listen to what I had to say, she fixed a pile of problems. All this and it was a lot of fun talking hair with her and Antonella. On top of all this, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming unlike many salons where the atmosphere can almost be described as snobby.

I am relatively new to the area and I am terrified of having my hair cut! I have long curly hair that has been repeatedly butchered over the years so it was with great trepidation that I had to seek a new salon. After meeting and speaking with owner Christine I felt comfortable enough to try the salon… WELL!!! Can this girl EVER STYLE HAIR!!! she had her first anniversary today and I hope she stays open for the next fifty at least! There are no other shops that even come close to her great care and talent! I plead to anyone that loves their hair, give this place a try, you will be forever changed for the better!!!

If your husband wishes you «good luck» before heading to get your hair cut you know it could go poorly. Overall it was a pretty negative experience, the only plus was the blow dry was good. I had purchased a groupon for beauty now because it’s a few blocks from our home and I was looking for a salon. First impression was ok, Brian the co owner was very welcoming. The waiting area is shabby and no drink was offered either. Once my stylist met me and washed my hair we went to her station. She was complaining about lots of things, including her boss. It was very unprofessional. She also kept bashing the last person who cut my hair saying it was so uneven and cut poorly.
Fast forward to end of cut/​dry. I get home and pull my hair back in ponytail and realize an entire chunk on left side was about 8 inches shorter than the rest of the hair… Thank God it wasn’t on the top and is under neath the long top layer… I was also charger $ 10 extra for ‘long hair’ which isn’t a thing at nicer salons. Needless to say… I will not be going back.

Since moving to Toronto it has been extremely difficult finding a hair salon that isn’t overpriced and bourgie. Beauty now has that classy atmosphere without the judgemental staff. Christina is amazing. She is friendly & easy to chat with but more importantly she knows her stuff. I am ALWAYS happy leaving the salon, never once have I been dissatisfied. I haven’t had a chance to try their waxing services yet but I have used their cut & colour services and I am always pleased with the results. Christina actually listens to what YOU want and does it that way. She will, of course, give you options & suggestions but in the end she does it how YOU want it. I will be back again and again!!! Thank you, Christina! I love my locks!!!

Christina is amazing. My hair was a disaster and needed a lot of colour correction. I left with such a beautiful colour and hair that is in great condition considering what I had done to it. She is very thorough and informative about what she is doing, cares about the condition of the hair and doesn’t rush or do anything sloppy. Thank you Christina, I love my hair!

Opened up recently around the corner from us, and so we jumped at the chance at having a local hairdresser. I got a very reasonably priced hair cut and was very happy with it! Have been back twice in the past few months, and I’m really happy they’re here.

Christina is amazing! My hair colour was so screwed by another local salon. Christina fixed my hair colour with an amazing price. She is patient, friendly, sweet and helpful. Highly Recommended! I will definitely be a frequent visitor to this place :)
