Baby on the Hip

This location of Baby on the Hip is as good, if not better than the original, Queen East location, which I find a little fluorescent. The College Street location is warm and cosy and carries an amazing array of great stuff.
I’ve purchased 1. My stroller, the Baby Jogger City Select with extra seat, 2. Über natural, organic mattresses, 3. clothes for babies and myself, 4. gifts for everyone else, 5. Cloth diaper supplies, 6. Breast feeding supplements/​herbs.
The only issue here: the door isn’t self-​opening, so it’s a little struggle to get in with a stroller, unless an employee jumps up to help you get in. Usually they help you on the way out.
They carry a good variety of natural toiletries, too. I take herbs to increase milk supply– I didn’t take it for weeks, because I wasn’t sure where to buy it. But, they carry it here! The brand is MotherLove, recommended by my Lactation Consultant. The tincture of fenugreek and milk thistle was just the ticket.
Great cloth diaper supplies– covers, pails etc…
Toy selection is a little wanting, because they try to carry the wooden toys, which aren’t the most practical (heavy for newborns).
