Archive Tattoo

Nothing but love for Archive. After looking at a few places, and then further looking through the Instagram accounts of Archive’s resident artists I was confident that this was the place to go.
Seriously… David Glantz, Mike Mendes, Amy Bliska, and Chris Price (who did my work) all have great portfolios and you can see the expertise they hone at their craft which speaks to why this place has such good reviews. I admittedly had a piece in mind that I brought in but Chris was able to give me reassurance in sizing and making edits. I’m totally happy with my piece and will be sure to recommend Chris, and Archive as a whole, to anyone who is looking for ink work to be done.
One note of full disclosure, I did have more success booking time via the phone than email which makes sense given these guys have their hands full and are dealing with customers 90% of the day so I assume checking emails are a lower priority.

I’ve now been to Archive 3 times, and feel qualified to give them a glowing review. Every single person in the shop is unbelievably friendly and professional. I have been tattooed by David and Mike and could not be happier with their work. I’ve got more work planned with David and will be getting a tattoo from Amy in the near future. I couldn’t recommend this place more — no tattoo shop attitude, just friendly people making awesome tattoos.

Only good things to say. Angela took a brutal error tattoo from somewhere else (all I’ll say about that is I won’t ever go back to a certain nameless place on Ossington again…) and turned it into something I was proud of. A couple months later — I had the bug — and decided to bring that piece up the side of my leg to my knee. I had no clue what to do/​how to do it, so I could only give Angela some general preferences, and left the rest up to her. Best decision I could have made. She took my basic remarks and somehow managed to get it exactly right. It’s now a year and a half later, and I honestly love it more now. I’ll be heading back there this summer for more — highly recommend!

Got the tattoo fixed by David, as mentioned earlier (originally done in London, UK a year earlier). And what he did I wouldn’t have believed possible. He is a miracle worker. Check out the before/​after photograph.
Super insanely pleased with this tattoo now, and working with David was an absolute pleasure. A real professional and a very, very talented artist.

Two of my three tattoos are from Dave at Archive. Amazing work, amazing guy. He is my artiste of choice and I trust him implicitly.
There is a long waiting list but good things come to those who wait.

People are constantly asking me where I got my tattoos done. Dave Glantz opened his own studio 6 months ago, and hasn’t looked back. His work is incredible and entirely original. His precision and attention to detail puts him in a league all his own. You’ll probably have to put your name on a rather long waiting list, but considering you’ll be wearing his art forever your patience will be well rewarded.
