This place is pretty rebel rockstar. Most merchandise here are too small for me, and far too trendy. I don’t have anything to match a lot of the clothes here, but it always for some reason draws me in when I am at Yorkville. The real estate is no more than the size of a large kitchen, it feels rather closed off from the outside. Awfully quiet for a store selling gear to people who regularly spike their hair. The sales guy sometimes greets me when I come in, sometimes he ignore me. I’d rather he’d ignore me because I have never bought anything in this store. I did come here once and saw white tie which debated very hard over. Normally I would never wear a white tie because that is just totally VDV Tck, but this tie was just the right width, and it had the silhouette/imprint of a face of a blonde woman which looked to be having a very good time… it was VERY America Psycho. I don’t know why I didn’t end up buying it. If it were red in colour I would have snatched it up in a heart beat. Things here are pretty expensive, but the merchandise seems to be on the edge, and geared towards mid-aged Men trying to re-live their youth. Oh btw, this place only sells Menswear. Stuff here are wearable, and mostly matched best with jeans and leather boots. The name suits the store well, but it suits the service even better…

I don’t like shopping — which is why I limit the places I go to and I avoid the the big places. I like going to small places that focus on the brands and look that fits my needs. Anti-Hero fits the bill and makes it into my regular rotation along with places like Boomer. All of their stuff is centered around pretty regular contemporary attire but has a slight rock star edge to them. Plus the guys working there are pretty cool and point out new things that they think might interest you.
