Overpriced merchandise for the most part… especially strings. I get that you’re on Avenue Road, and you can charge more on account of the demographic. But should you? Real musicians don’t usually just«take up» the trumpet because they’re bored. They need strings and rentals, at reasonable prices. Also, they never answer their phone! What’s up with that? Every time I’ve called to check stock on something I’ve had to call repeatedly!

Great Establishment. A small but friendly music store. Lots of accessories and sheet music. Some nice axes inside. They give lessons. The place has been there since the 1970’s, and is still somewhat under-rated. You should check it out !

Really impressed with the rental program! Great way for people to try out an instrument(go to their website to read about it) but this completely worked out for us. Instead of investing $ 800+ on a saxophone, we are renting one for $ 35 a month to see if my husband is actually seriously about learning to play! We can also apply the monthly rental fee and buy out the sax if he chooses to or apply the money to a different instrument! Good selection of popular sheet music too. I haven’t touched the piano for 15+ years but walked out with some sheet music to play for fun. Friendly staff. Saw some cute ukuleles that we could buy our nephew/niece for xmas. Price ranges from $ 40 and up. Lots of colors and designs to choose from.
