Great variety when it comes to pastries and cookies. I found the coffee was made exceptionally well and exactly how I ordered it. Service was fast and friendly. Tons of parking in the lot. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I found the sandwiches to be just okay, is it that hard to make a great sandwich? I would come back though for coffee and pastries anytime.

In a convenient location in the heart of Jewish Thornhill exists this kosher-certified Second Cup franchise. All food and beverage served is kosher, mostly dairy, some Cholov Yisroel as indicated. Service is just slightly more removed and impersonal than other Second Cup franchises, but expect a complete halt when someone familiar to the staff comes in, regardless of whether their presence is to actually have something or just to say hi, which seems to happen more often here than in most coffee places I’ve visited. Beverages, for the most part, are/taste the same as any other Second Cup; it’s the food that’s the real change here. As it’s provided by local kosher bakeries, it’s a departure from what one acquires from the average Second Cup. As for the seating, I’ve found it’s either full of people of all ages –and vocal projectability– who seem to have been sitting their for hours(as usual, the staff doesn’t care) or completely empty. Rarely have I seen it at some point in the middle. Atmosphere is nil as the seating is too close together for comfort and due to the aforementioned noisy clientele.

This Second Cup isn’t your typical Second Cup location. It’s Kosher! Everything served in the store is Kosher! Customer service is wonderful, very friendly, and fast for the most part unless you come in during a busy time of time but that wouldn’t be their fault. They can’t pick and choose when people decide to come in or not. There is free WiFi and if you have an SPC card you get a upsize drink!

Excellent customer service. Owner is warm and friendly. As someone who keeps kosher, its nice to know I can order anything in the store and not have to ask if this or that is kosher. Delicious, very hard to choose cause everything in the store is just so darn good :) They offer chalav yisrael milk for those who keep chalav yisrael. I love that everything in the store is certified kosher :)

Another Second Cup? not really… This Second Cup in Thornhill is a Kosher friendly coffee shop. It’s name, the milk they provide at the counter and even signs telling you they are Kosher friendly. I was a little overwhelmed when I walked in,. this place was packed with kids not high school… elementary school kids!.. in line with me ordering those fancy chai latte… Luckily they not staying in and I ended up having some peace and quiet hanging out with the older crowd… older here means retired seniors… and I was the only one that was on the laptop. that’s unusual too! Services are friendly and polite. Barista knows everyone that walked in, aside from me. My coffee tasted the same with the Kosher milk… but whatever. as long as I got a table with outlets and free Wifi, I am happy!
