the brick white rock

Took day of work and bought a new washer from the brick, told it was the greatest deal as they had only one left and no dryer paired with it. It was in stock and I needed it as my washer had died 2 days previous and clothes wet, soon to be mouldy. Loaded it in my van and unloaded, hauled up stairs, leveled and installed it only to find that it has an error that will not even allow it to spin the wet clothes i transferred to it. Called the # the machine said to call, they said that i have to call the canadian office. Of course they were closed. Called next morning, they had me go through a bunch of diagnostics such as switching breaker on and off… They then said that they will call the Brick and they will deal with it. I did get a call from the brick that they would pass it on to whatever department and they will call me. They did not, so next day I called them, and they said come in and pick out a new one, we will refund your money. I explained that– 1). I need it now, i know if i go in it is 3 days before they deliver from the warehouse.
2). I spent a lot of time setting this one up and would prefer that they sent a repairman to fix it as i don’t want to waste another 3 hours. plus the buying of a new one. (I did pay an extra $ 169 for a 5 year no cost REPAIR warrantee).
He said he is sorry that is all he can do, he will deliver it for free and give us a screaming deal on the next one we buy. So we go to the Brick, sit down and tell him which one we would like. (The same one we were going to buy for $ 599 before getting this great deal on the broken one). He goes and does the usual BS thing with the Manager and comes back and says he can let it go way under cost at $ 649!!! Exactly the same one! After realizing that we knew the real price of it he would «let» it go at $ 599. So, at first I got up and asked for the refund but of course the wife convinces me that it would be more days without a washing machine if i do not buy now, so i end up taking it. Oh, and they take the money for the one I buy and then tell me, Oh, of course we cannot credit the other one back to your card until this one is delivered”. (Meaning until they get the broken one back, but it’s fine that they have my money, for both units, «Oh, and sorry delivery tomorrow is all filled, we can probably get you in the saturday shipments» ^*%$#^*%$^%*&&*
ps. Your store is in Surrey, yet it is the White Rock Store. Don’t even know what city you are in, can your delivery people find my house?
